"Outing" LE provider website setups...

In the area where I live LE is continuing to step up efforts against this activity, including posting "setup" provider websites. Generally they're pretty obvious, but it's getting more difficult to spot the "tells" in each add. My question is if one were to write a post on a TER discussion board warning of these suspect websites, could there potentially or realistically be a legal consequence? Could LE cause problems for obstruction of justice or something similar?

I am pretty sure that if you couch it in  terms like "I think" and "may be" or use indirect language, you ought to be relatively safe.

If you say this IS a bust, you might be liable but if you say this 'has all the classic signs of a bust" you have wriggle room

Are they required to delete the post? What is our rights on freedom of speech on these boards? Is exposing LE a crime?

When I notice a posting that supposedly is exposing a current LE sting, or if someone brings it to my attention, I remove it.  I'm sure Staff does the same thing.  I think it has something to do with interfering with an investigation or something being illegal.

Due to the nature of these public message boards, many times posts go up without our knowledge.  There is a grey line between freedom of speech that is ALLOWED and impeding a police investigation which is illegal.  If we believe that a post crosses that line, we have no choice but to delete it.

The last thing we are interested in doing is breaking the law.  TER has very little value if it is shut down.
