What do you doubt about him?

Even if Auburn ends up winning in January, it still doesn't take away from his dominating season, nor will we find out if he is "pro" material for quite some time. Are you saying you don't think he was the dominant offensive player of the year? If not him, who do you think was more deserving?

I think he was left of the ballots because of the sex charge, but on the field I thought he the best year

team. Without him they wouldn't be where they are. The two half decent teams they played this year didn't have a problem scoring on that defense ( BC  put up 34 ) they just got outgunned by this kid.

As far the 115 ballots they probably couldn't get past one word in the award's description .

" the outstanding college football player whose performance best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with -- INTEGRITY --- ..... "

The Panhandle is still old school and I  believe we saw the results of  wealthy and powerful alumni and a DA who wants remain a DA . Those who left him off are showed their disdain

Maybe Tre Mason is lucky he wasn't picked as Heisman winner .

No doubt Winston dominated as a quarterback this year in College . I expect him to collapse in the NFL much like Robert Griffin .

In the last twenty six years , sixteen Heisman winning  quarterbacks haven't done much impressive  .

I blame inflated ego for Robert Griffin's collapse  , both his and Deadskin owner Snyder . If senseless hope is what you live on Robert Griffin can be  your guy

It's for the best "college player" not the best NFL recruit.

No other player can really even come close to Winston this year. If it weren't for the rape allegations hanging over his head, he most likely would have been an almost unanimous choice

Like an elephant I have a strong back , with  a weak mind when it comes to the opposite sex  and
explaining my thoughts in Cliff note style .

IMO the rape allegations against Winston had no substance , if they were true I believe the D.A.   would have followed through . That had nothing to  do  with my vote .

Unlike many  football fans and fewer NFL scouts  I certainly realize College football is nothing like the NFL.
Many players in College are still children , not realizing  how hardened  men with skill in the NFL can hit ,
until they are lucky enough to wake up in the NFL and  feel the impact first hand .

Robert Griffin is a prime example  of a great College player  who found out playing with men can hurt more than he thought , though his ego might blame his team on the hits he took .

The reason my Heisman vote goes to Tre Mason , IMO he was definitely the major catalyst on  a team not loaded up with Star Power  College talent , while  beating  many top notch  College teams ,  primarily because of his extraordinary skill  .
Winston is on a team loaded with star power College players .
I stand by my analysis.

I threw in the Heisman quarterback jinx link and Robert Griffin example , just for factual fun  . :-D
