Could not agree less.

Legalize, tax, protect the safety of everyone.

It would also probably result in lower rates (good for guys) and more business for more total dollars, good for girls. Of course, like world trade, it would be disruptive and I'm sure some super high end girls will make less, but hey, welcome to the free market. .
In the US, a legalized market would be FAR less "free market" than a decriminalized market would be. Decriminalization would be relatively straight forward and would mainly require protecting consenting adults from being persecuted and prosecuted for consenting adult behavior. Done! Whereas a legalized system would give birth to uncountable obstacles and agencies - federal, state, local, and corporate - ALL vying for a say-so in your panties.

Good luck with that

If any of the presidential candidates would ever seriously consider legalizing escorting, it would be Trump. Hilary would receive too much back lash being a woman, I think, shaming her for "ok-ing sex slavery". Trump would receive much of the same criticism, yet, being the business man and negotiator he is, he would find a way to bring it all back to economics. That argument would be quite sound, in that the government would now be able to collect taxes from escorts, and probably charge a premium from agencies or brothels managing multiple escorts. Depending on how the law/legalization was to be enforced/managed/regulated, he might well have droves of escorts showing up to vote for him at the polls, as the legalization might very well render a safer environment for escorts, and their clients.

Just a thought...

This in no way means I support/will vote for Trump, or Hilary.

As with Marijuana you can't just decriminalize something this controversial and be done with it. Either you fully legalize and set up a simple, fair, legal framework (who can buy, who can sell, how tax is collected and so on) or you get a mind boggling patching work of county/city/state ordinances and regulations, many of which would probably seek to de facto make it impossible to engage in either side of the trade.

I suppose it would most likely play out in a similar fashion to marijuana, that is on a state by state basis. Nevada is already on board, I wonder which state would be the next to OK it...

What happened to morality? or just a freedom of choice for personal business enterprise?..If any one of you can honestly claim that you'd be okay with your mother, sister, daughter or friend becoming a prostitute as a profession of choice, aspires and encourage young generations to be their highest goals in order to be successful in one's life, then this world has gotten little darker than I had ever imagined. Some argue that women have a right to do what they want with their bodies, and some say start teaching them to love and respect their bodies! And I'm one of the people that, It makes absolutely no sense to legalize something that is morally wrong simply because the illegalization doesn't prohibit the offense. By that standard, it should be legal to shop lift. People are just going to do it anyway, right? The illegalization just makes it more exciting! We should always stick up for what's right and never give in to what is wrong because it is simpler.

Well, well - no surprise!  Pat Robertson rears his squinty-eyed head. You and your ilk are the biggest hypocrites on the face of the earth!  Jim Bakker, Jimmy Swaggart and now good ole' Denny Hastert -- so quick to criticize us 'immorals' and then get caught with your pants down around your ankles or with some poor 14 year old kid.  Save your preaching for another audience.

HAHAHA! That had me clutching my side, doubling over laughing :)  I couldn't agree more. Your comment reminded me of the recent updates on NPR regarding the numerous molestation and rape cases involving Catholic priests and high bishops. Despite the ever increasing quantity of occurrences, the Vatican has yet to establish an official, binding protocol for punishment, and restitution, to be uniformly enacted in such cases. Nor has there been any tangible efforts to address the underlying "cause" -- the celibacy vow, creating an atmosphere of intimacy deprivation. Sex being deemed morally untenable creates an environment of shame (self-shame, and slut-shaming of others), secrecy, and abuse.

So strange that someone would create a profile and post on an escort review site when they are supposedly morally against escorting.

Right on, Mia - and 66 reviews to boot !!  Spotlight was an incredible film and captured so much of what you just said.

Thanks for the kudos, Mike! I loved Spotlight! Fantastic film!

Though I'm confused by your comment regarding my having 66 reviews...? I only have 4 on this site. Where are you seeing 66 reviews for me (Mia Malina)?

No -- sorry, Mia.  I meant that Orajel (or whatever his handle is) has posted 66 reviews of ladies he has seen.  Shows us all what an upstanding MORAL individual he is.  ;)

Hahaha to you too. Time for you to start the campaign to all mother, sister, daughter and everyone that when PROSTTITUTIONS becomes legal it will be the BIG NEW THING and will be the number one PROFESSION a career of choice, encourage young generations of women entrepreneur, create institutions, schools, classes etc, and becomes Top Rated Prostitutes, earn a degrees, Masters and PHD's in the science and arts of prostitution, teach them how to sell their bodies creatively without any emotional and physical damages and makes a lot of money...maybe????..painful????hardwork???. come to think, it will be heartbreakers for the ugly one's...the thrill the challenges continues....

Exactly what is your problem, Orajel?  You sure appear to partake of the 'profession' -- and not just casually.  Perhaps you have a split personality -- half Pat Robertson and half whore-monger?  Methinks you need to step down from the pulpit and leave the rest of us sinners alone!

Selling and buying sex is moraly wrong? Then save me a place in hell.

The high end providers I've seen are often high quality people. It wouldn't dissuade me in the least to begin a relationship with someone who used to be an escort, nor even marrying them. I'm talking about high end escorting here, not backpage or craigslist. I wouldn't mind if a woman I'm related to was in the industry, as long as they're screening properly and doing it the right way. There's always a bit of unseemliness imagining a related woman having sex with any man,  picking one up at a bar and such. There isn't more unseemliness because money is involved
