just curious. i've seen a provider on craigslist for two or three cities, seems to be the real deal, gets positive reviews (mostly) here on TER. the reviews state she either picks up or calls back in an hour or so. i've left messages three days in a row. i know the ladies get busy, but? the messages i've left have been brief, mostly "saw your ad, i'm intrigued, here's my name, here's my number, please call". is this normal? i've never done this before (oh yea, i'm a newb!).
any advice is appreciated.
Most ladies like a little more information. "It is OK to call me back because I'm the only one who will answer this phone". The ladies do not want to intrude on your private life.

Even though the TER profile gives a phone number and says she picks up, her website may specify email or form to be filled out for appt- always check her website if she has one.
Also, what you say on the phone can either enhance your call back chances or kill them. Polite, no vulgarity, no mention of acts, no mention of money- just "I saw your ad or site and am interested in meeting you, please give me a call... and specify when to call or any time if that is okay. If you mention specific acts or money or are explicit in any way, you are guaranteed not to get a call back.
Finally- I've experienced two other things- One- some providers change phone numbers frequently and their profile takes another review before it is updated. Two- some providers back off and quit providing for a period then are back- either resting/recharging, or travelling.
No answer to begin with is a bad sign but she may also be busy. I return calls a.s.a.p. if I miss them and I will give you a yes or no or day and time and be very prompt.
But not all people are that way.

Along with the advise given above I would submit that "I'm intrigued" won't generate nearly as many call-backs as "I would like to make an appointment for 2 hours on Friday starting at 7:00".
When I was a CL poster, I would get voice messages such as
"yo shawty, how much do u charge for sex? hit me up."
"i want to know if you charge for intercourse."
and my favorite,
"i want to fuck you in the ass. how much will that cost"
Atrocious responses like this will definitely guarantee a no-callback.
You've got to be careful about what you say on the phone.
In the hobby, there are certain things that you should never say to a provider over the phone. The responses I've provided are prime examples

I often take long bookings, which mean that I cannot reply back that day. Do I then assume that its OK to call that evening? (no, they may be with their families) Or the next day? (no, probably at work and can't answer the phone that day). Or did you call her in the evening when she may be home with her family?
Guys need to be specific about when a provider can call back. For instance: "today until 4:30" or "tomorrow between 10:00 and 4:00."
Also, does her website say that she requires a completed webform? or e-mail? If so, that is the best way to make the initial contact.
I personally prefer that first time clients e-mail me first. Why? Well, because unlike yourself who is obviously sincere, you'd be surprised about the number of guys who call providers with the express intent of needing a voice to get off to. The guys who want to discuss scenarios with you, find out what you are wearing, ask if you are shaved, what is included in an appointment, etc. In other words, asking the questions a provider is not about to answer.

well, i finally got the young lady on the phone two days ago. i was trying to arrange something for early this afternoon. she said to call her 1 hour before i was ready, i did, she did not pick up, and now my window of available time shrinks. is this par for the course or just a sign of a lack of professionalism or newbism (newbieism?).
as mentioned in my previous post, earlier in the week, we discussed a time for friday. one hour prior to i called, no response. i got a call from her three hours later. we discussed her coming to my place. fifteen minutes before the time, she called responding to one of my voicemails "did i miss your call?" as if she had no clue who i was. i explained that we had already arranged time for fifteen minutes from now, she made some excuse about having a sick friend she was trying to take care of. i then rearranged to meet her at her location, which i didn't get from her, i got an intersection in the city. i went, knowing that if something happened, i had other things to do in that area anyway. i got there and called, no answer. i called again fifteen minutes after the alleged appointment. no response.
i'm writing this down as a lack of professionalism on her part, or just plane old flakiness and i'm probably better off for not having had the opportunity.
Do everyone a favor and do a review on this.
I think this is the kind of thing that this site is supposed to address. Be honest and fair, but state the facts.
This is kinda the same and would like an opinion.
I sent a email saying time and that an owner of an agency I had been doing business with for years would be a reference.
She emailed back that would be good time and to
call before noon to confirm .
Well I did and no answer. Left message and just called one more time.
Later sent a nice email wondering if she would give me courtesy why the appt was not held.
Got to thinking and called madam I had known for years and found out she does not give references anymore and had bad attitude. I am thinking no wonder the girl was not receptive.
I call her back ,leave message and explain the deal that the madam no longer gives reviews and that I saw a girl I know she has heard of and tell her I need to get permission of an another one and did not mean to waste her time and understood why she was wary.
Bottom line check references frequently . I doubt she thought I was a cop do you ?
I guess I can wait a while and try to email her back with the good reference I have not gotten permission of yet.
This independent game is an different animal then agency !
So do y'all think I am screwd ? If you were a provider would you look at me again if I show proof of that provder and she is a A rate ?
