But for me I prefer to sail seas blue and green, red tide is gonna have to pass. . . at least the most stormy parts.

I'm curious- is there a general consensus about women working on their periods? If a provider is wearing a sponge or something internally that makes intercourse/oral totally feasible and hides most evidence of menstruation, are you ok with it? Would you prefer a provider cancel if she's bleeding? Are you more concerned about STD transmission? Does it depend upon how heavy the flow is?

Thanks!!

It happened once where a provider was either ending her period or had something internally to hide it. I Didn't notice until round 2, and although I was a little surprised,  I was too into the provider to let that slow us down.  I think as long as the provider is open about it and honest with the flow, we could find a way.

Sometimes I'm cool with it, sometimes I'm not.  It definitely changes what I like to do both from an aesthetic as well as health standard.  I understand surprises happen, but if I think she knew and chose to hide it then I generally wouldn't see her again.

Transparency on health related issues is important to me in this for a lot of reasons.  If I choose to take the risk, that's on me, subjecting me to it unknowingly is uncool.

It sounds like it's important for gents to at least be in the know and be able to decide for themselves. I wanted to share part of a PM that a gent here preferred not to post publicly under his name (I have his permission to post it anonymously here):

'Yes, I definitely care. I wouldn't want to see a lady while she is on her period, no matter how heavy or light it is.

It just seems scary to possibly ingest her blood. I'm not sure of the health implications of that, but I wouldn't want to take the risk.

To me, it just seems irresponsible, inconsiderate, and desperate for the provider to work on her period without letting the gent know. If a lady tells the gent up front that she needs to cancel due to her period, and leave the decision up to him, that would be better.

I could understand a lady not wanting to cancel an extended date with a visiting gent, since he may not visit for awhile and a cancellation would leave a bad impression for wanting to try again. That's where desperation comes in.

I guess it's all about communication, letting the gent know and asking if he's okay with it. Some will say yes, some will say no.'

I had an experience with this once before.  I had plan to see this one lady who's company I totally enjoyed.  A week prior a family member of hers was involved in a military action and the worst was feared.  It effected both of us. When she got word back all was ok, we arraigned an extended session.  Just her luck, as she was getting ready her period showed up.
She called crying and upset and expecting to cancel. But with what happened, I still wanted to see her and we planned a session with out having to deal with her period.

Bottom line, just  be upfront about it, let the guy decided if he wanted to play or not and you can always be creative and offer something different.

....if my period came unexpectedly on the day of our playdate. I would hope that a provider would offer me the same courtesy

This happened recently, I was a little freaked out because of what happened....I would have preferred she cancelled and I would have understood. Needless to say I didn't see her again.

can't some girls be hornier on their period?  could make it wild.
but like others side would prefer to wait.  guess it's a cleanness thing even though precautions are taken

It sounds from the earlier responses as though there is not a general consensus. Some care, some just want to know beforehand. I'm in the latter camp.

Oral can be fine if there is no flow (or it's captured internally), but even intercourse can still be totally feasible or great with heavy flow.

Yes, it matters. I would absolutely prefer that she cancel. I would understand. A rude surprise (as in the above post) and I would never see her again.

But I had one lady almost ruin the sheets at my hotel because she hadn't planned appropriately.  And the session never got off the ground. Bottom line for me is that DATY is key to every session so if i can't do that then no joy.
