Flakiness as search criteraconfused_smile

I recently had the exprience of making three appointments with Andee Green.  First two were cancelled by her, and the last one left hanging for two hours without any communications from her except for "ok, almost ready".  I left frustrated and extremely disappointed.  Should TER let hobbyist rate the "flakiness" of providers?  I know Andee has almost perfect reviews from those that were more fortunate than me.  But most of us have demanding schedules and really need to plan ahead for this hobby and it would be nice to see the percentage of times providers actually do "show up".

I could see value in this but also a lot of potential for abuse.  Also, TER requires you to actually see the provider to post a review though they do make some exceptions in extreme cases I've noticed.  But in many cases of flake a meeting never takes place.  If such a rating was separate from reviews somehow, well there are a lot of pricks out there that would be tempted to manipulate or abuse the system.  It might be very hard to make it reliable and accurate.

In your case I would suggest trying to talk to the provider about the issue if possible, if you have not already.  I also get very, very, annoyed at this.  Had an appointment with someone once and she decided to go fishing that day instead and didn't bother telling me.   She got a nasty text from me and did apologize, but still that is quite unacceptable behavior.

On the other hand, I had a rather humbling experience quite recently with a provider who canceled at the last minute and she had very good comments in her reviews about dependability.  When I fired off a lecture text to her about this she also apologized and even rebooked with me early the next morning.  She drove over to the area I was staying and set up an incall for me at 7:00AM.  Turns out she had a bad family incident that day that I was able to verify in the local paper.  Most anyone, including me, would have been so shell shocked by what it was that they would have likely forgotten about appointments.  Yet she still came through the next day.  That really impressed me especially after learning what her previous day's trauma really was.  In fact, I even gave her an extra $50 tip for coming through and I felt bad for getting so annoyed about the last minute cancel.

So be careful and always try to give the provider a chance to explain.  Shit happens.  Though granted, in your case if it was three times, that might be harder to have a good reason for.

Sadly, I suspect the majority of providers who have a habit of flaking and being unreliable are addicts.  Their lives revolve around serving their addiction.  I saw one once get on a train, travel two hours to get her Meth and then two hours back on the train.  Most of her day was spent trying to secure her supply once she had the funds to pay for it.  Very, very, sad indeed.  You can't really punish them because they are already in hell.

If your time is limited, why did you continue to book after the second cancellation? There are hundreds of providers in LA, so if one flakes just write her off. Sugarman, you're expereince is a good example of what not to do in this situation and that's to continue wasting your own time on someone who's unreliable

Posting about your experience is the best you can do because you give heads up to fellow members who may be interested in seeing her. Reviews are meant for providers you have seen.

Flakiness is almost non existent in the K-Dill scene. Cancellations do happen but the client is informed and an alternative is often available as well as rescheduling of the cancelled appointment.

Read her reviews....90% reflect she was late or canceled.  I would have been done the first time.  My time is VERY important and the providers time is also very important.  Both should respect each other's time.   I had to cancel one yesterday but I had NO choice due to a business meeting.  The provider was totally understanding.

mostly to expose fake reviewers and plagiarized and stolen reviews from TER that are posted on Adult Fraud . Given your reviews of imaginary appointments , that you end up deleting , you will feel at home there.

I agree with what you said.

Not much the OP can do except to post here as an FYI.

I wouldn't bother trying to see her now.

For what it's worth,  same thing happened to me. I waited 2 hrs like a chump until I heard back from her. I knew I should have left sooner, but I had committed and really wanted to see her. She said she would make it up to me, but just like a previous poster pointed out I began to wonder what would cause someone to completely space out for hours and figured it was best to move on. There are a ton of amazing providers in L.A.. Hope you have better luck in the future!
