In any case, you will never find out if you don't try. You might as well have some fun while trying. From what I've seen, the problem is more of the ladies not liking the guys, and thus not consistently giving great dates. If a guy calls you, there is some attraction on his part.
However, I do see that BBW ladies do not have rates as high as the Miss America types. The law of supply and demand.
Give a man ample joy, and you should do fine.

I was wondering whether you thought being a BBW will hinder my ability to gain enough clients to make a go of this career? I know there are men who enjoy BBW women, there's no doubt of that. But is the pool large enough for another BBW to jump in?
Sweetie! From one BBW to another, the answer is a resounding NO! It will not hinder your ability to provide. Men love variety, we all know that.
But yes, oh yes, there are men who appreciate more flesh on lovely ladies and will seek them out.
I've been providing for a year now, and business is fabulous! Just as long as you provide a great service at your level of comfort, be persistant in that service, and make your clients happy, you'll do wonderful, I have no doubt in my mind.

In my personal dating life I was never much into larger gals, but I have to say since embarking on "The Hobby" I have found some of the best experiences have been with BBWs. It all boils down to attitude and I think many BBWs appreciate men more than their "hot babe" counterparts. Go for it....make a TER man happy and they'll be beating a path to your door.
