Or a well trained attack dog.......

A very well trained dog that can be nice until you give the word can also be very effective.  Although the one in the link can sure get the point across, I'm a big fan of Akita's.  Not only are they a very, very, beautiful bread, but no one in their right mind would want to fuck with a large well trained Akita.  They have very powerful bite force and have even been know to give an occasional Pit Bull an attitude adjustment.

Those were the words from a career provider and long time friend telling me of her recent criminal victimization by an otherwise attractive AA client in his mid to late 20s who stole money as well as her Iphone, violently knocking her to the floor in her private SF Valley incall doing so. Since her Iphone was stolen she has no number in which to report to The National Black List or anywhere else.

Things had been slow for her recently. She didn’t take her usual precautions, and overlooked possible red flags. Now she is even further behind. He likely wasn’t a TER member, he was got from a Bp ad.

You needn’t be a neophyte to get ‘nicked’. Always screen; ladies, especially thorough if advertising on less than optimal sites.

I just really don't see how guys can do that, but they do.

1.  Another case I know of after a session guy is starting to leave and grabs the money.  She tried to stop his and was also knocked to the ground.

2.  Another case, a provider was not paid and left in the middle of no where with no money and, if I recall, no cell phone.

In the first case is was a guy responding to a BP ad.  I think that was the situation with #2 also.

I'm surprised that well established providers advertise on BP at all, but some do, obviously carefully

What a moron!  So sorry to hear about things like this.  Please be safe everyone.

AJ

Guys wonder why we screen.  This is why.  How many times have I heard "I am a nice clean cut looking guy". We are letting a stranger into our homes.  I value my safety and will continue to screen.

beautiful, gentle, generously amorous providers become jaded, suspicious and hardened after time.

I laud and have huge respect for ALL you consummate professionals who amazingly shake off such negative and traumatizing experiences, continuing to afford intimate fantasy and respite to we men who seek it.

KUDOS!

True I had some bad  experiences on  the past
Not that bad liker hers..
..but It did not  make me jaded but more conscious and  wise..
..this is very intimate bussiness  and any bad day can affect you ..
But I  guess
"  LIFE"  or any bussiness can make u jaded it depends how you  conduct them .....
hope she be ok ..

I am so sorry about your friend who was horribly victimized!!! :(

I agree with Madison about screening and verifying someone thoroughly before inviting them into our home.

Here are some examples of emails I have received after specifically stating my screening requirements on my TER profile page, P411, VP, and website...
"Hi I saw your profile and are what I'm looking for. I'm in Pasadena.  If we can make an appointment please let me know"
"Hello Alanah, are u in LA? I like a king's treatment :) what are your enjoys?.."
And here's one more from a random cellphone number
"We open-minded and taboo. If interested in detail get back."

See what we have to deal with sometimes?

This is why we LOVE the chivalrous gentlemen from TER!!!

Screening is indispensable, and valuable for clients and providers.  Just as clients do research to investigate providers, the reciprocal is just as important for everyone's safety.  Despite its occasional frustrations, screening is essential, and without it we would all be much worse off.

There are ways to get back call log info from phone company records, even with prepaids and google voice accounts. Also I phones are easily traceable. I really hope she can find this guys number and dig up his real info or at least  post his # to blacklist sites.

this is brilliant advice!

He needs to be told a lesson! What an animal he is!

I hope the lady who suffered the attack is ok and that all her regulars will show their support by visiting her. This will allow her to keep going feeling safe with known clients for a bit until she feels comfortable and strong again to face a stranger.

just a thought

Could u tell us the provider info?  I'd see her just to lend a hand....

...the problem is that we have nobody to report these crimes to, IMO.
I've gotten some of my best clients from BP. Sure I have to wade through comparably more riffraff, but there are good guys & bad guys everywhere, even here. Until we have a way to safely report crimes against us without risking our own arrest and our privacy, this will continue to happen... and it happens a lot more frequently than most people think. I see dozens of new posts every day on different blacklists, and those are just the ones that get reported.

Ladies, I would very strongly suggest that you get involved at a local studio that teaches practical women's self defense - I'm not talking the kick-him-in-the-balls-and-run type of self defense, I'm talking about techniques that will help you keep from getting punched, choked, stabbed, etc. If anyone needs a referral they are welcome to contact me.
Predators look for easy victims. If you don't act like easy prey, they won't fuck with you. This goes from the way you conduct yourself when communicating with potential clients, all the way to your body language & air of confidence during a session. Plus, if you actually KNOW that you can defend yourself, you will project a calm-but-confident attitude that is pretty difficult to fake.

And as far as screening goes... bad guys don't get their foot in the door by saying they're bad guys. This is why it's important for us to listen to our instincts & pay attention to those red flags.

Stay safe out there ladies. A violent client can cost you a lot more than the few bills you're turning down by refusing that one appointment.

Although it would sure be nice, you might not need quite the training to police dog level where you can tell the dog exactly who to go after.  But they definitely need to be trained to understand when the owner is cool with someone vs. when someone is a threat.  With most dogs I have owned they will be okay with someone they don't know in the house as long as the person behaves.  If the person does not behave, I have had to pull my dog back more than once.  An obnoxious adolescent would be a good example.  Most dogs will instinctively protect their owners and family.  Where the problem can come in is with kids or adolescents.  They roughhouse and first thing you know one has a puncture hole in his ass if the dog is around and you're not.

My dogs do seem to understand when I tell them someone is okay.  They are less tolerant if I don't tell them that.  I also had someone who one of my dogs knew well and he though he could just enter my house when I was not home (without my permission) with no problem.  That was when I realized that my dog knew that person was only allowed in my house when I was there.  My dog a real sweat heart with people in general, but he can be a 100+lbs of nasty if need be.

With an Akita there are a couple of different breed lines.  One tends to be smaller and have a personality more like a family dog.  Those might be okay with unfamiliar adolescents, but that Akita line was developed to be more a family dog.  The original line developed for bear hunting some caution is suggested around kids and adolescents.  They are loyal toward their owner, but very intolerant to anyone they consider a threat.  If a client was dumb enough to hit and try and rob a provider that had one of those, or certain other breads, in the house he's taking a really big risk unless he is armed.

The other plus of spending some money to train a dog is it lowers the need to pay for an alarm system in the house.  When someone comes to my front door when I'm not home, they see lots of teeth looking back at them through the window.  The main risk are mistakes on the dog's part so I'm always careful with introductions until I'm sure my dog is cool with someone.  So someone like a provider with a dog would certainly be advised to take the time to get the dog used to unfamiliar men coming in to get the dog used to it.  If a guy hits her, odds are good the dog's instinct will kick in.  But it is definitely critical for the dog to correctly know when someone is a threat, so that would take some level of training with the amount somewhat dependent on the dog's personality.  That would likely be less training than teaching a dog to go after a specific person on command that has not posed no clear threat to the dog or handler.
