Basically, look at it this way...ANYTIME you swap ANY body fluids, there is a risk.  The risk however varies with the body fluids involved.  Unprotected intercourse carries the most risk..especially for a female.  They are 5-10X more at risk than a male.  Unprotected greek carries a high risk, due to the possibility of bleeding.  As far as BBBJ... there is still a risk, (hiv, hepatitis, herpes, etc).  But the chemical makeup of saliva makes it less hospitable for hiv.  The risk is much higher for the person performing the bbbj. (especially if they accept CIM)  Same with DATY...the diner is at more risk than the resturaunt!  Even DFK carries risk.  The question is.... Are you feeling lucky today? You seem so afraid, that unless you cover your entire body in latex, you are never going to enjoy it!! Hell you could get killed in a wreck, on your way to getting that BBBJ! Be smart..stay away from BLOOD!!!, If you have bleeding gums, large cavities, or mouth sores, don't DATY! See any sores on her mouth..don't put anything in there without a condom. There is no 100% SAFE SEX..so you have to decide how much risk you are comfy with, just like the providers do.

I know this has been done over and over again.... people asking about how safe a BBBJ is... but it seems like there is some contradictory information.

What I mean is that it seems that just about everyone has this to say about BBBJ.

Women can catch lots of stuff, including HIV.

Men can catch lots of stuff, but probably not HIV.

But, then there are hobbiest who say they have had hundreds upon hundreds of BBBJs and never had an issue.

Also, why would providers give BBBJs when they are more at risk.  Do they just figure it's no big deal if they catch something, or do they already have it and figure they might as well provide the BBBJ?

I don't see anyone talking about BB sex, but based on the health info, almost everything you can catch from unprotected sex, you can catch from BBBJ.

So, given that, why do hobbiest and providers tend to view BBBJ as ok, and unprotected sex as NOT ok?

I am wondering if somewhere out there there is some kind of transmittal rate that would suggest that it is much harder to catch something via BBBJ as opposed to sex.  i.e. if you had a BBBJ with someone who had an STD, what is your percent chance of having it passed on, and how would that percentage compare with unprotected sex?

Look dude, there are several inherent risks of being a hobbyist and playing in this arena; monetary rip-offs, LE stings, bad service, unprofessional providers who feel the need to divulge your personal information, your significant other finding out, and of course contracting STD's. I've been a hobbyist for over ten years and have only experienced #1 and #3. Do your homework and you'll GREATLY lessen the chances of problems.

Obviously, you are concerned with contracting STD's. Fair enough. But, if you are going to try and anaylze why providers offer BBBJ and dont offer bareback sex, and if the provider offers a BBBJ does that mean she already has an STD, and if she has an STD what is the percentage chance that I will I now get it, you will drive yourself nuts.

At this point in your thought process, the risks of getting an STD outweigh your rewards of great sex. You should not hobby.

It is obviously a concern for you.  Given that there is a huge grey area on the subject, peace of mind is probably more valued than the incremental satisfaction from a BBBJ vs. a covered one.

So until you feel more comfortable, I suggest going the covered route...  it's really not that bad. (besides, many providers will allow a covered BJ to completion)

to the mix, how about the prevalence of providers who will take your penis and rub it all over their vaginal lips and clitoris, or while you are hard, allowing 'camel slides' uncovered. (Can't imagine a few "oopsies" haven't occured while that goes on.) Your pre-cum gets all over (and in) them, and your penis gets all their fluids on it as well. And all this doesn't just occur with low-$ providers...

Wow....this is really frightening to you!  I have to agree with Hardy.  Your reward has to outweigh your tension over the risks.  everyone in the hobby, both the hobbyist, and provider play a form of russian roulette, anytime anything "unprotected" is done. I would say, use a cover, or simply let the provider know you don't feel comfortable about that.  They are not going to "force" a bbbj on you. Or you could just date large breasted women and become a "russian" specialist.  It's all in what you feel comfortable with, so you can enjoy the session.

find a big bottomed gal and become an Italian expert.

As an independent provider who does not offer BBBJ i understand ur dilemma.  I have been offered more for a BBBJ, but have declined and lost clients because of it.  I use flavored ones that so i can perform longer.  You should let the provider that you contact know that you would like a CBJ to begin with, then as you get to know that provider or others you can decide if you want to try a BBBJ.  Good Luck

Just an FYI - you have to display a TER badge or banner on one of the first 2 pages of your website if you are going to post a link to it on TER's boards.

For the money of course. Hell, there are providers who wouldn't make a nickel if they didn't give BBBJs. It doesn't mean they have an STD or aren't concerned about their health. They're just dealing with the reality of the job. BBBJs justify a premium rate over CBJs, and this is a competitive business.

A good blowjob provider with the right suction, cim or swallow has the power period. The ones that say they do bbbj to get more business but perform a lame one wont last or better move alot in bed and be greek.

So you are saying that if they won't suck you off without a condom they better off their ass or you won't see them? Just curious, that's all.
