While Pink's is great, not what you would call a healthy food option.

Are there any healthy food places in LA/BH that serve organic food, chopped salads, and/or juice? Wild caught sashimi/Japanese places are also welcome.

I figured I'd ask you lovely ladies and gents for some good healthy food places in LA/BH so I don't get stuck eating protein bars for a few days. Please PM me or reply here, thank you in advance!

In the west of the valley there's:

Follow Your Heart - GREAT food.  On Sherman Way, East of Topanga.

The Local Peasant - Again, Great local food.  On Ventura, 2 blocks West of Fallbrook.  No sign, not ads, large black restaurant.  All word of mouth.

Enjoy,

DkG

Just kidding.

There are a few places, but the names have slipped my mind. Sorry

12" Jalapeno dogs with pastrami, bacon, cheese, chili, lettuce and tomato!
 What's NOT healthy about that?

Right around the corner from Pinks on Melrose
is a macrobiotic food eatery called M cafe

Hugo's on Santa Monica Blvd in W. Hollywood is great for B, L & D. They also have branches in Studio City and Agoura.

...but it tastes like crap, at least to me.  Give me Pink's any day.

Locations in Pasadena, Santa Monica and West Hollywood...

Gracias Madre, Real Food Daily , Urth Cafe, RAW, Tender Greens ,Lemonade , Evo Kitchen,Vegan Glory ,Earthbar

Just to name a few ;)

Let me know precisely where you are staying and I will tell you where you can find stuff within walking distance or a short Uber ride away.

Ohh yesss! Emailing you, you better be free when I'm in LA!

I would recommend my favorites:

Cafe Gratitude is a chain and has several locations in LA,
Kreation Cafe,
Seed Cafe,
lots of juice and healthy eating in your area!
Im in Santa Monica so this is from my perspective.
Also...Whole foods!
:

I'm so glad that there's a ton of options.. no protein bar diet for me while I'm here!

Many of the other recommendations involve a lot of driving.

Rule number one in LA:  Crossing the 405 is a nightmare.  It is no different than crossing the Hudson from Manhattan to NJ.  It might only be a few miles but it is a painful commute.

Since you are in BH, stay east of the 405.  Find shit in BH.  I wouldn't go any further west than Westwood.
