I was just up there a week ago and stopped in at Le Royal Spa which is pretty much mid-town. My first visit to any establishment in the area. I was not looking for an extensive menu, and indeed an extensive menu was not on the menu here. Very nice English-speaking masseuse, $90 for her hour. The house fee was $60, plus more if you want a hot tub, which I did, and which I shared with my hostess. House rules were hands on the surface only. After the finish there was also a shower available, which we also shared.  

I was informed that there is plenty of other action to be had in other establishments, but not this particular one. Sorry, I did not get names. But I did read all the review sites I could find, most of which were sadly out of date, and between them and all the backpage ads I think you can get a pretty good idea what's gong on. I did not sense any real heat from the local constabulary, and the news articles about increased enforcement seemed stale already.

So if you would like a nice rubdown in a nice clean place, you might want to check this out. Have fun! And use Canadian money -- better value than the American$$.

Hey there. I am coming to town in a few weeks and want to know the ins and outs. What the story with the massage parlors? any in particular that are better than others? What's on the menu? Etc.  Thanks!!

Hi there, I will pm you the name of a site where you can get more information on the Montreal scene, as I don't know if I am allowed to post it here.
One thing you should know is that a few months ago the massage establishments were the target of LE raids, which resulted in a number of them getting busted.  It's been quiet now for a while and the general opinion is that is it now safe to frequent these establishments again, but I thought you might want to know.

Montreal massage parlor did get indeed at one point targeted since the Montreal maire has decided out of nowhere to close them down for many reasons. For insurance policies, for women trafficking, for holding a massage permit that is use for other purposes.  
These ones targeted are mainly chinese parlos that are all incluse menu and you will know righ away as soon as you step in.  
 
Whereas, you have a long list of very reputable massage places that offer a decent erotic massage, usually around 60$ entrance fee plus between 80$-100$ for the masseuse (considered as tip). Many of them are downtown but some wonderful place are outside of the downtown area (maybe 10$ cab fare).  
If you go on MontrealMassage, you will find all review of differents places and girls, even that varies.  
 
 
Have a great massage session but please note that the experience is very different. I went to place for couple massage and had a just a different experience than when I am my another GF...
 
But this is just a girl point of vue :-)
