about the small things. Like color of the ad, color of nails or color of lingerie. The kind of music you play during a session and last but not least, How often do you guys read the ladies ad if the ad is long explains a lot.
color of nails - don't care although if they are well done with interesting patterns, etc., I usually make a nice comment.
color of lingerie - don't care but sometimes I request a certain color based on photos.
kind of music - definitely... it's all about setting the mood along with lighting, scents, etc.
long ads - I'll admit, I look at the photo in the ad first, and if I like the photo, I'll read the ad, look at reviews, check to see if the lady is on P411, etc. Some ad I love reading because they read like a hot romance novel 
. A certain lady in Las Vegas comes to mind.

For ads you have to base everything on certain colors that compliment your own skin color, shape, lingerie, personality type, etc. Not one certain type of ad. It's amazing how you can pop out in a photo because of the correct colors for your type and personal description. Accentuate your best features and go from there! The type of music you play goes with the preference you like. Men don't realize how they are drawn in by certain ads of ladies because their photographer knows what they're doing to bring the best out in that woman. Certain colors are great with a brunette but not as appealing with a blonde. Not even including eye color or skin color.
I've been laid back with nails because of the price every 2 weeks to refill and tip the lady, so I try to do a nice, classy job at home or go plain. Nothing with too many accessories on your nails or it looks funny and messy. Maybe you can try something more simple that can match any outfit.

I think that it depends on the interaction that the man wants. If he wants a great session with a beautiful and attentive lady then he will take the time to read the full profile and everything she explains. For instance, the little things can add to the time with the lady as if she is really put together with everything color matching it helps me relax and get into the moment with her. In addition, I feel that the music that is played during the session can either add or hinder the whole experience. So, I would say yes that some men do care, but many do not.

Music? Extremely important. Imagine the difference in mood going from Sade and Barry White one moment to Weird Al and Korn. All have a time and place. I've been asked to burn CD's of some of my playlists because of the mood they set, and the experience.
When it comes to the text of the ad, the longer the better, and the better picture it paints of the person. After all, given the amount of changes going on in the business, the more information available, the better the chance of a successful adventure.

Someone once said "Don't sweat the details". It's all in the details and the little subtle things that make a good time into an amazing one. I love creating amazing experiences and finding a way to top the last one.

the other small things do add up. color of lingerie or style can be a huge turn on. hair style too. anything that is subtlety eye catching helps with the mood.
When I see an ad where someone has clearly put real work into it, that tells me that they care about themselves and their business. My hope is that this effort will also be shown once their services are engaged for. I generally am willing to pay more for a better experience.
The length of text isn't so important to me, as much as what it contains. If it really is giving a flavor of your personality then I'll continue reading (I'm a yoga instructor and follow a band around the country still sticks with me). If it's just boilerplate generic "I like men, enjoy long sessions, good food etc" then I'll skip most of it.
Recent (dated) photos are better than old photos.
Slightly off topic, but relates to in session stuff. The most important difference, and the thing that shows best in all the reviews? Attitude. You can definitely tell when someone likes their job vs thinking having a vagina and being moderately pretty is all she needs. I will repeat an enthusiastic partner even if things go wrong. I won't revisit an unenthusiastic one regardless of how much else she did right
I like to have as much information as possible about a lady before meeting. So I like to read as many of her reviews as possible and every word on her website. Details like nail finish and lingerie color are not things I think most guys look for specifically but they absolutely contribute the impression photos make - the tell part of the story about who you are.
Music during a session is key, but most important (beyond the physical part) is attitude and enthusiasm. I think most guys really want to feel a connection and get a true taste of a GFE. If you can deliver that, at least to me, it's way more important than nail finish or lingerie color. Just my 2 cents.

Basically the site should let us know what the rates are, a little about yourself, anything you do/don't do (better yet, a link to your reviews to answer that), and CLEAR and VISIBLE pictures.
One site template providers use has pics the size of thumbnails. That is neither clear nor visible. We should be able to get an idea of whether you are a B or a D cuo without having to ask.
In other words, the design helps but if you are talking about paying more to your web designer for all the bells and whistles...don't worry about that.
Oh, NEVER set the site to music. Nothing more annoying than opening up a site and having music blasting out of it when you are trying to view it discreetly.

as to the ad, if it's long, make sure you're not just repeating what other girls are saying. speak from your heart, not from an advertiser's mind. we know all you girls are low volume and the most exciting time we will ever have, so try to come up with a new approach.
that being said i love to read a lady's entire website to get a feeling for her personality.
But we certainly notice when they are NOT there. There is such a fine line between well dressed accoutrement and skanky as to defy description. Also - put the effort in the writing - be it an ad, a fantasy, or anything else you post. Refined gentlemen CAN discern the absurdity of an ad speaking of "well educated" followed by "I spent four years in collage (sic)."
Approach an ad like you would approach a guy in a bar - refinement, elegance, taste, and intellect.
Put those all together and it's a no-lose proposition.
