I never lived there but a friend of mine did.  I really liked Pine Square but having lived in Hollywood, I would not have made the move because I liked Hollywood.  Positives is that its not so far from OC and Newport Beach

I mostly worked around LAX, sometimes in LB, and perhaps a quarter of the time in OC. I didn't have a private incall, though; I saw friends in hotels because I like the safety and anonymity of not staying in one space. On one hand, having LA and OC equidistant to LB was convenient, but I was also driving A LOT. I don't think I would have had as much business if I had only seen lovers out of an LB incall; there just didn't seem to be the same demand as in LA.

For some reason, LB is viewed as the stepchild between LA and OC.  I don't know why... It's large, both population wise and geographically, and there are some very upscale neighborhoods.
I 'm in the Southbay, and LB is very convenient for me, much easier than shlepping to the Valley or Hollywood.
I know of only one highly rated lady, in LB who has a residential incall.  There are probably others.  She is near Belmont Shore and is primarily considered to be an Orange County provider.  She does well.
