Thanjs, but I have a couple follow-ups: Can I assume any provider shown or linked to RS2K website is a member of RS2k? What about P411, I don't see how you can tell what providers are members or accept P411 without contacting the provider?
lets say you don't live in chicago area. central atlantic area which one is more widley recgonized nationaly? ck. out each site p411 has more providers listed. rs2k is better price but seems to be limited in my region.

is that they use your phone number to identify you. Since I "play" with disposable phones my number changes constantly, and (if I remember correctly) RS2K wanted $50 each time to update my profile to a new number.
Also you can go with Date-Check, its free. I have used it and I think its pretty good.
No it's only $15 to up date on RS2K
RS2K from what I understand is mainly based out of Chicago..or more people up there use it. For those of us who arent real familure with it, it is not a very user freindly site. For a provider to "verify" you through RS2K, they have to be a member, or pay to use it and if you dont use it very much, then the point of spending $$ is not good use to us.
P411 is the bomb! Gina (who ownes and currently still runs) Private Connections is the most business savvy individual regarding this business and can get you going in the right direction with NO hassles. This, to me, is the BEST tool any hobbyist can use to secure an appointment with ANYONE they want ....

Its the largest in Chicago, and while it does cost both the provider and the client, they are very efficient. To verify a client, they must give the provider a phone number along with 2 other pieces of information. Obviously won't work for someone who uses disposable phones, although they do have ones that you can reload and keep only for hobbying.
I guess the answer is pretty simple. If you are interested in meeting a specific provider in Chicago, find out what verification she requires. If she indicates RS2k only, then you will have to make a decision as to whether or not you wish to join.
Also keep in mind that the ladies who advertise on the RS2k site.. all take their verification.
