Congratulations Pittsburgh!

The Pirates' win last night clinched their first non-losing season in 21 years, the longest active streak in pro sports. Good to see Clint Hurdle finally get the franchise turned around.

Yes..CONTGRATS indeed...Nothing like drought DC had until 2012..

The Washington Senators from (1901-1960), which later on became the Minnesota Twins went to the playoffs in 1924. This was the last time a Washington baseball team went to playoffs.

The subsequent Washington Senators (1961-1971) never went to playoffs..This team later on went to Texas and became Texas Rangers.

The current Washington Nationals, which is original franchise out of Montreal (Expos) went to playoffs last year winning 98 games, and it was the best record in MLB for that year, only to fall 1 strikeout short of qualifying for NLCS. It was sad..

yeah, just like the Caps aka "Craps". Few years back had best record in all of the NHL teams, won the presidents trophy and in playoffs against Montreal 3 to 1 lead and lost 4 to 3 in best of seven.All time choke and the Nats is up there as well in baseball for all time choke!
