Pardon me, but I lack the experience and knowledge of some of the more senior posters here to know if what is happening on the board currently is the norm, or some deviant of such. It would appear that the rancor has now reached an unusually high level, but that is based on mere speculation then anything else, as I lack the number of hours spent here to come to any fair conclusion on my hypothesis.

It's pretty mild now. Don't count on it being civil across the board, but you can see where certain people dialog with one another in a respectful manner.

There has always been rancor on this board, but it wasn't always so viciously brutal and unabashedly mean-spirited.
The extremes on both ends of the pendulum have taken over and there is no room for anyone who varies from the program. Unless of course you are willing to put up with the cyber bullying and the propensity for total unmitigated bullshit flung in all directions.
