Thanks for pointing out the obvious.

I thought conservatives believe in competitive capitalism. Why aren't there other capitalists to compete for that market?

and, even though I am the right, this is a reason I throw out all of Fox's claims on the success of their shows in terms of viewer share - they have no competition, whereas to some degree the major networks and CNN/MSNBC compete with each other - certainly the latter 2 do - during much of Fox's prime time shows.

What does "conservatives believe in competitive capitalism" have anything to do with Fox and the free market?

Where do you see conservatives blocking competition for Fox to make it a monopoly?

It is market driven and right now no one feels the market is big enough for two conservative networks at this point.

Personally I would love to see a competitor as competition improves product, generally.

As Jack says, the market thinks there is presently not room for another, at least not on cable. You do see more and more online/streaming competitors such as Blaze-TV and CR-TV. Increased competition directly against FOX on cable would be good for the viewer and FOX. It would also male the target on FOX's back less harder to aim at. But I don't think there are any collusion forces in play to prevent a newcomer.

This has been brought up here before if you care to investigate.
