This $40 million is a down payment, but unless/until he shows more tax returns which show a lot more paid in taxes, I'm assuming that this is just another Trump lie

Probably took the lift of this "Audit" off the table if it extended that far, not sure. How far back is he being "Audited"?
So if 2005 looks "clean" and made him look good, then why not show more??  So let's end this shit now and show more, 2014,2015 or whatever been done in the past.
And they only had 2 pages of what 500 or maybe more. Shows he did very well, but where did the dinero come from?

I don't think you quite understand just how big of a fuck up this was by Maddow.

It ends the conversation with the voting public.  What you said no longer matters, it actually never did. No one really cares except people that have nothing else to talk about.

He got elected without ever showing them. He never had to, he never has to. No one voted for or against either party based on his taxes.

So many got to see Madcow rant, and it was batshit loony level ranting about nothing with no proof of anything. It was crazy talk, speculation, hyperbole. To sane people and she probably got some to tune in, they saw crazy nutter conspiracy crap without proof.  What do you think joe and jane public think now?

Oh, Trump did pay taxes, a lot of fucking taxes. The loony regressive left LIED about it. Clinton Lied about it. Sanders Lied about it. See the theme?  People are fed up with the shit.

Trump had, what was likely, one of his best day in office politically.  He didn't have to do much, just let the left shit the bed again.

You're really overestimating the value of this fuck up. It's only a major fuck up in eyes of Fox and it's viewers which include the hard core trump followers. It's a "Who cares 2005 tax return". Doesn't it make you wonder why he didn't show his current tax returns? Why the secrecy? And please don't say, "He doesn't have to"
So to Joe and Jane as it stands now, after all the nonsense and the fucks up that this administration is all about, my bet is that they'd love to see his "current" taxes once and for all to take this issue off the table.

I don't give a flying fuck about his taxes, your taxes, Hillary's taxes.  It's noise.

The world now knows. That Trump paid taxes, making liars out of just about every democrat out there. Trust that there will be ads about it come campaign time.

The new spreads on facebook, on social media and at the water cooler.  Oh Trump did pay taxes? How much? Wow, that's a shit ton. Then some redpill throws out how Clinton, Bernie etc lied about it. It resonates. If it doesn't. It was never an issue. Which is the truth the American voting public was fully aware that Trump didn't release his taxes and he still won.

No one cares out side of a sliver of hard core regressives and the loony liberal media.

Especially now more then ever. And that one year, 2005 is a cherry pick year, that's one of the year that Melania trump had to prove her taxes for her citizenship. It had to be spotless.
The only people that couldn't care less about his taxes are now trump supporter, Joe and Jane indie just checked out.

TwoMints, $40 million is a long way from "hundreds of millions."  Do you understand that??

TwoMints215 reads

50+ year career. Paid 38.5 million in one year. You don't think over the 50+ other years he didn't pay additional taxes? What about employment taxes, sales taxes, state taxes. etc.. The guy employs 1000's of people.

A large chunk of that 150 million was royalties. That income is reoccurring. (he gets it every year)

Plainly 40 million is 20% of 100's of millions. In one year...

He wrote off $1 billion and went bankrupt 4 times.

How much of that $150 million is recurring royalties?

I don't count employment taxes, sales taxes as federal taxes on income earned.

69 million was what was reported.  At 25% taxation, it takes about 11 years to pay 200 million in taxes. Hence 100's of millions..

He wrote off 100 million probably against that 900 million dollar loss in one year and still paid 38.5 million in federal taxes.

You don't count?  Why not? How does your believe or denial of reality effect the facts?

Did he say 100's of millions in taxes or did he say 100's of millions in Federal taxes?  Either way he's likely right.

I get it, you just spout. You don't read, you don't look stuff up, you feel. You feel he lied so obviously he lied..

Maybe he pays taxes in Russia etc.!

The real question is: how did he earn this $$$?  Does he have conflicts of interest? - I'm thinkin he does

He says he's worth $10 billion - I doubt it, but even if he's worth "only" $3 billion he's done OK for himself!  A. LOT better than me!

Most people wanna see his entire return so that we can see his conflicts
