I see the hobby as dinning out versus home cooking.
Most of the time I don't know if I'm eating out (as in dinning in a restaurant, come on here, ladies and gentlemen...) three days (or weeks, or months) in advance. I just feel like something I don't have at home /don't feel like making, pick a restaurant and go. But very occasionally I read about a place a I really want to try and will make a reservation well in advance.
In escorting terms this means I usually reach out for an appointment the day before or even that morning, but maybe twice a year will schedule a week or two in advance, especially with a touring lady.
I'd love to hear how far in advance other people make appointments and ladies... assuming white listed and/or OK status, how big a deal are last minute appointments for you?
I have only done a same-day appointment twice. Usually I book up to a week in advance, which means I often have two or three upcoming appointments booked with different girls at the same time. Sometimes, if I have a current favorite, I will just book three sessions with her for three different times during the week all at once with the booker.
I find when I leave an incall, there is no letdown if the next session is already booked.

i only booked same day once...when the girl i was going to see turned out to be a dud. i had an envelope and a bloodstream full of blue pill, so i just called some of ny fav ladies, left messages, and went with the lady that called back first, who luckily was my atf anyway.
i have a dinner date with a lady for thanksgiving that we agreed upon last monday. she is a very very special young woman...
are usually same day as my schedule can be erratic and it can be weeks between visits so when time opens up I am running to see a lady.

Indies tend to book as far in advance as a month.
My ATF, usually 2 or 3 days but have as far as a week.

I've done it a few times now.
My favorite was back to back, 1 hour/w Jude and 2 hours/w Claire with only 40 minutes in between.
Exhausted drive home and slept like a baby when I got there. :p

I suspect girls prefer as much advance notice as possible, and even more so, with a new person, especial a new acquaintance who's also a 'newbie' such as me.
I admire you guys who have some notches in terms of references and Whitelist Referrals. Oh, well, we all have to start somewhere.

We're all different based on our own availability. Personally, I can't do last minute. Most of the time it's in advance, by days, weeks, or months. In the old days I used to have a lady I'd meet on a certain summer day every year. So that one was always planned out to the next year. Of course I'd see her in between, but that one day was ours.
It's probably not usual, but I tend to schedule appointments weeks and months in advance. I tend to see just a small set of ladies who are very dependable about such things as I almost always book longer duration encounters like overnights or long dinner dates. Just this week I setup an overnight in The City for January. That's pretty typical for me.
I once took an ATF on a cruise with me for a week; we had to reserve our tickets a year and a half in advance. That was the longest advance planning I ever did.

But it's only because my schedule is already super firm and set with school and my research fellowship that I know months in advance the handful of days I will be available. I release the dates months in advance to my regulars so those who also have a predictable schedule can book and it's convenient for both of us. Then in the beginning of the month I put the remaining slots on my website and ads. I only prebook also because with my limited time if a date I'm available isn't booked with a sufficient profit about 2 days before I will take it off my schedule so I can do other things with that time. I think it all just depends on peoples life styles. It's understandable if a girl is providing full time at a steady incall that she can get to quickly and easily on short notice or for a provider who works for an agency (or Kgirls) that are on call during specific times anyway to accommodate last minute appointments. If my incall wasn't an hour away I would probably take same day appointments too but it's a pain in the ass to get to so alas...
the more notice you give the more you can pick specific day and time you wish to spend with the chosen lady x
....i've found if an appt was made more than 8 weeks ahead of time they rarely stuck. I've advertised as far as 7-8 weeks ahead but never less than 2 weeks ahead.....4wks/1 month ahead is my most normal.
As far as "last minute" goes though I'd prefer no closer than the day before but when touring i've been able to accommodate just fine if the gent had all his ducks in a row as far as his screening went. If you're often a same day guy I actually encourage getting pre-screened just so you have a better chance of getting the date you desire with me. I am not a stack em' up lady and even touring I like to keep things low-volume and I feel that's done best if I can know what my "dance card" is looking like as ahead of time as possible.
