i totally agree about most of the women being gay for pay and i hate that.  i actually did a double a while back and the other provider actually pretended to give me daty and it was a very awkward and disappointing situation to be in for sure

Hi everyone! I was wondering if it would be easier for a newbie (gay) woman like myself to work with an agency to find the right lady, or is it best to go independent? I have just begun checking out some independent ads and although most refer to "gentlemen" in their ad pitches I know that some will see women as well. But it is tedious to have to randomly email/call each provider not knowing in advance to ask if she will see women. I thought that maybe an agency might be better since they can do all of the leg work in finding girl-friendly providers for me. As it is I expect to be subjected to more screening than a guy would be, and I was thinking that an agency might be a better fit, at least in the beginning?

What do you guys/gals recommend? I'm located near the LAX area, in case any provider was curious :)

AngelGirl-
I can't access the PM because I only have a basic account so far, and it is a 'VIP only' access :(

from some years ago, in a similar hobby. :D I can help you navigate the waters here. Ladies, I can vouch for Lopaw- she's pretty awesome. :)

Lopaw- shoot me an e-mail and we'll reconnect and I can recommend some women for you!

I am not a gay woman, but I can tell you that if Harlowe offers to help, take her up on it.  She is as bright, deep and real as they come.

Hun your answer doesn't make sense, you should slow down and read the post before you reply.

Her question was based on her being a new 'gay' hobbyist, not an escort.

Can you also post when you are actually going to do a tour in LA, had quite a few inquiries when i was in LA and i couldn't give them an answer.

Apparently they have messaged you but you haven't replied back, although you did on a couple of them which had an odd reply.

Please keep your rants and negativity to yourself and not aim it at clients you have never met.

Seriously, ordering them not to tell me they contacted you is ridiculous and there was me recommending they see you

You've done the best thing by posting on here, i'm sure the girls (as Harlowe has already done) will point you in the right direction.

The only downside with 'some' agencies' is that a lot of girls will say they are bi but in reality they are only bi in this industry and i'm pretty sure you want the real deal.

Good luck

I would also recommend you to become a member of Preferred 411, if you intend to become a regular hobbyist. It will make screening so much easier and the hobby safer for you.

it will take more effort and research to find the right indie, but you'll be able to communicate before your session with an indie. With an agency there's  usually very little communication with the escort before you see her.

Thank you everyone for your responses....I will follow up with all of you lovely ladies that were kind enough to answer my post. I am still trying to gain VIP membership.......hopefully after that it will be easier for me here on TER.

@Miss HarloweDahl - an email is heading your way asap :)

Given that most hobbyist are men, I find this interesting, or rather i find you interesting in a good way. I am curious to learn about your experiences here.

Wow.. Simply Very Interesting.

Carla di Capri is sure to take you to ecstasy.

Sounds like from your post that you are leaning toward going with an agency...Why not try out an agency for a while to get some experience, and then branch off as an independent if you feel...There are pros and cons to both so why not try both and see which you like more...

Sophia869-
While I appreciate your advice, please be aware that I am a hobbiest, NOT a provider. I was inquiring, as a client, which path I should pursue in order to more easily find providers that offer their services to women.
