it would certainly benefit all here on TER to have all 50 states w/sub catergories of popular cities!!!

I think it would be of great benefit to the TER community if each state had it's own regional board. You could do away with the individual cities and simply provide each state with it's own board. This would lead to easier discussion and generate more interest in this area of the website.
California (where I'm from) would be far too big to have just one board. Our LA board is fine the way it is. Posts from people in San Francisco or San Diego have very little relevance to Los Angeles.
True. Then, how about all 50 states, with certain states, like California and New York divided into sub-categories? For example, CA could be broken up into San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Other. New york could be broken up into NYC and Other. Illinois could be broken up into Chicago and Other. I agree that some cities, because of their size should have their own place. I think the sub-category solution works. The problem now is that people posting for some states get lost in the shuffle. I know Ohio, for one, is a very hobby oriented state.
