If you are not the Boss of your company you can be fired for not showing up to work.

I've never understood how some employees can be so ignorant and devoid  of work ethics, they will not call their employer when they decide to stay home.  
   
    I feel very fortunate to greet every morning with Sunshine and glee, even when it's raining or sleeting, motivated by my great job, working for a  magnificent Boss.
    From my perspective, looking forward to work is a Great way to start every day.  

    I've often wondered the percentage of employees who look at their job like I do, anxious to get back to work on my day off.  

   I'll always remember a guy  telling me America  successes won't continue  without illegal immigrant workers  supporting our economy.  
  I'd wager he would recall my reply, "You seem to have South Carolina confused with California."
 
I wouldn't be surprised if he was fired last week for no call no show.

"Lexington County, S.C. (WLTX)- Twenty one people were fired after taking part in the Day Without Immigrants Protest.
 
Juvenito Quintana and 20 others all missed work on February 16th and the next day, they got a letter from Encore Boat Builders LLC in Lexington.
The letter said they were being terminated for no show/ no call in. Quintana says some employees got calls from management the day before telling them not to miss or else they'd lose their job."
