I'd seen the ads but fortunately not the one I was looking at but a similar set up in a strip mall...  actually a small plaza with several strip mall like buildings with multiple units.  The raid was in conjunction with a local TV News expose'.  A TV interview with the clerks at a nearby store stated they saw beds being moved in which was unexpected for a massage facility.  Three women were arrested.  2 patrons were let go, stating there was no proof they'd done anything wrong.
I'm not sure of the take away from this.  This is another small town...

News reports indicate 1 gal charged with solicitation & lack of a state Massage License, the second gal with lack of Massage Licence license, third gal released (no charges mentioned).
I note the advertizing was for "Body Rubs".  Never the less they were arrested.  Me thinks the terminology was no protection.

2 Customers were released (not the release they went there for I imagine) without charges.

This AMP was in a small RI town where they stood out like a sore thumb.  Not a wise place to set up business.

I mentioned MY uneasiness over a different small town MP in a thread below.  I was trying to quantify strip malls as being excessively risky but I received PMs that many MPs are so located.   My sense is that bigger cities, busier locations blend the traffic into the hub-bub of daily life...  mor maybe no one cares?!  The proximity to normal retail establishments increases the chances of a do-gooder stumbling on it.  Then there is the advertizing...  which specifies location.  Talk about a taget on your back!!

Some risks are not worth taking!
