When you walk into an appointment...does the lady ask for Identification? if so do they like take it out and look at it or do you just sorto show em the picture to make sure you are who is supposed to be here
They just want to see that you are who you said you were when your first book the appointment. And If you have good references some ladies do not check the ID at all.
They want to make sure that you are indeed the person they prescreened and that your information is all correct. For instance, if you said your name is Tom Smith, but your ID says you are John Jones.. adios! Also the same holds true with other info on your identification. If you lie about one thing, you can easily have lied about alot more. This also holds true for providers with minimum age limits. If you say you meet her requirement and you show up and you do not, again, you have lied and she will probably not trust you to stay!
This is first and foremost about trust. If you ahve done your research and found a reputable provider, your information is safe with her as she only uses it for prescreening. But, even more important, the provider needs to feel safe and secure. If she doesn't, she will most likely either ask you to leave, or if she is visiting you, she will leave.
Sinthia, This is off topic but I just wanted to say thank you for your posts on the newbie board and your part in the TER Instruction manual- you answered some of my concerns last month when I was new and I've noticed since that you are always amazingly gracious and kind to newbies- for that matter in any of your posts on any of the boards!

Who leaves his ID in the car hoping that the lady will let it slide. WTF? You expect her to trust you and yet you don't trust her? She doesn't care what town you live in, she isn't going to memorize your address in the three seconds that she spends looking at your ID and you are not getting any nookie without it.
Visited a lady in Las Vegas and she wanted a copy of the boarding pass and my DL to be sure I was from out-of-state.
The only picture most of them want to see is Benjamin Franklin's.
Im asking specifically like do you know that providers often take the id out of the wallet window or just look at it when u flip open your wallet or what?
What exactly is it that you are worried about?
Mine is a horrible picture of me...I'd hate for her to look at it and up the price. LMFAO
I can't figure out why they won't open the door when they look through the peephole and see a guy with a bag on his head either...
If you're looking for an answer with that level of granularity, I think it would really depend on the girl.
However, you should probably expect the worst and assume that she's going to take it out of the window and discover that it's fake, or get her girl-cooties all over it, or whatever it is that you're concerned about.
Of the few ladies I've seen so far in my hobbying experience, only one has asked for my ID, and I knew beforehand that she would want to see it at the beginning of the session. She had me take it out of my wallet, and she did actually look at it closely. I actually appreciated it, because it was another thing that showed she was being careful, and therefore, I felt safer as well. She was well-reviewed when I saw her, too. I'm fine with anything that makes both parties safer.

I ask to see it. I want to see if the story adds up. If they say they are an out of towner and their ID has a local address.....EXPLAIN. The name is the same....yadda yadda.
