beat the shit out of HRC.  Plus, ain't the Clintons from Alabama?

Alabama has the 5th lowest per capita income, 3rd lowest for life expectancy, 10th from the bottom for education, a lack of environmental protections and of course utterly CORRUPT politicians.

It took less than one day for Bible toting Gov. Robert Bentley (R-AL) to pick a replacement for former Alabama senator Jeff Sessions. Former Senator Jeff Session's replacement, Luther Strange, arrives in Washington as critics say he totes ethical baggage from the man who appointed him.

Here is the inside story: Gov. Bentley had been married for 50 years when his wife discovered that he was having an affair with an aide, Rebecca Mason, who was paid with campaign funds. Bentley's wife then divorced him, and members of the state legislature began to wonder if Bentley had used state funds to cover up the affair. However, the attorney general, Luther Strange, asked the legislature to stop looking while he took over the case. Next thing we know, Strange is appointed to the Senate to replace Sessions. Strange, no?

Now, you might ask, who gets to appoint the new state attorney general? Why, it's Gov. Bentley! Yesterday his choice, Steve Marshall, was sworn in. Is Marshall likely to vigorously pursue Bentley? Nope, the smart money is betting against it.

An man from Alabama sat next to me on a 5-hr flight to California. It was a vividly painful experience listening to him. Much like reading messages posted by FatVulva, BullShit5, and Menarche, and more recently this ed simpleton.

Contrast that with that immensely enlightening experience of chatting with David Gilmore seated next to me in business class on a very long flight from Amsterdam to Cape Town.

Alabama, Mississippi, and possibly Louisiana represents ugly spots on the globe, not for how the land looks, but how much those people stink.

to be effective you really should offer a stronger counterpoint other than "stupid", "simpleton" and "paranoid".

The speculation for civil war that hotplants recently posited is indeed a potential outcome, especially if too many people start believing a substantial number of other citizens, identified primarily by their State of residency, "stink".
