...Trump claimed the national murder rate is the highest it has been in 47 years.  It's one of his biggest lies yet - the national murder rate is almost at a fifty year LOW.  The murder rate had its largest ONE YEAR INCREASE by percentage between 2014 and 2015 in 47 years but it's still less than half what it was during the Reagan years (4.9 per100,000 vs. 10.2 per 100,000 under Reagan.

Also at the meeting, a whiny little bitch of a sheriff complained that a Texas state legislator wanted to stop asset forfeiture prior to a conviction, something that most Dems and civil libertarian Republic and agree on. Trump asked what the legislator's name was and joked that he would destroy the legislator's career.  Some joke.
