but I like reviews that tell me something more than I can get from ad or simply know about the usual interaction that takes place.

I know there is at one other person who likes shorter reviews -- or may he just didn't like *my* long review ;-)

I'm curious about how people feel about reviews?  Do you like long, detailed reviews or perhaps shorter to the point reviews?

As for me I prefer the shorter to-the-point types of reviews.  I appreciate if it includes the mood of the appointment, for example: sensual or friendly or business like or wild and hot, etc.  But those reviews that read like a romantic blog just don't interest me.  I'm not one for embellished stories.  Then again, I've been doing this a long time so maybe I'm in the minority.

It really all comes down to chemistry between you and the provider.  YMMV as they say.  Ok, feel free to share and of course as always we're interested in what the ladies have to say.

Be safe everyone.

Full of details about how I really enjoyed my time with a particular woman, and lacking in detail about how I fucked her.
The review was rejected.

I'm done with writing reviews.

I don't read the juicy bits anymore. I click on them to find out where the meeting took place and other mundane details to help me see that same woman.

I wish they were a bit more honest.  I know that nobody wants to be mean (well...some assholes do), but I have seen a few gals that had no business keeping the pictures that were up on their sites up.

Definitely a massive shift from the heavily edited and outdated pictures in a couple of cases.

Some have actually been better looking in person as well, but after reading some reviews about "This girl is gorgeous" and you get there and want to turn around....It makes me question the whole set up.

Take all reviews with a grain of salt. Go look at yelp. Half the time I'm thinking "what does this idiot know"

If a girl has a lot of reviews you can sort of spot trends.

I tend to ignore most of the review outside the basics. Most girls blur, so if I can get a hint that she's actually pretty to go along with the body that's helpful. It's actually a bit of a turn off reading about some old douche taking the cute little thing I'm about to meet to pound town. :)

A long time ago a provider  told me she realized after reading her reviews that about 1/3 really were accurate. 1/3 exaggerated the date and included events that just didnt happen, sometimes acts that she never ever did with anyone e.g. greek ever. The remaining 1/3 were complete fiction. She never saw the guy. lol

Ive mentioned these numbers to a bunch of escorts over time and they agreed these stats pretty well could apply to them as well. So, I always take reviews with a grain of salt. For example a new provider getting a well written review ..ignore it...lol...

I do like reviews with details and a sense of the girls personality and how she related to the client and visversa. Im not crazy about reviews that drone on and on for multiple paragraghs or the opposite...The ones you wonder how they were ever approved in the first place with a few lines made up of minimal verbage and phrases in lieu of real sentences.

Thanks for raising this question RCS..Its been brought up before but bears repeating to a new audience.!

Looked like the new beta site allows people to "Like" reviews.

I agree with much that others have written in response, there's some good and bad to reviews.  To me, what lead me to TER in the first place was it served on a basic level as a verification source in an "industry" (for lack of a better term) that has no standards.  There are justified complaints about TER's editorial police, grade inflation and hyperbole, the incentives for fake reviews, but I sometimes find a good review that is very helpful as I wade through the "caveat emptor waters".  It doesn't have to be long or overly graphic, if I can get a good sense of the atmosphere and interaction with the provider and a physical description I'm well served.

Reviews often tell me more about the reviewer than the provider. Some can't write the English language. Spelling and grammatical errors give me an idea of the level of education and intelligence of the reviewer. This in turn gives me a better idea of whether the writer might have a clue. I'm often amazed at the ignorance reviewers display. As for evaluating providers by the reviews again you have to have an idea of the reviewer's standards. Look at how many or few 9's and 10's are given out. There has to be some variation in scores to indicate the reviewer has any basis for judgement. As for length of reviews they should be long enough to provide some information but brief enough to wade through. Everyone has different preferences as well as standards. Ultimately if we didn't find reviews useful we wouldn't be here.

First , thanks to the OP for asking an intelligent question  we can actually discuss. It seems to becoming a rare thing on this board.
When I look at a review I first look at the reviewer, does he have a good review history, is he someone I know and trust ? I usually discount a reviewer that has only been doing it for a year or less. I know the first year for me at least I didnt know a 7 from a 9.
There are a lot of bogus reviews and once you've done this for a while you will know the difference between a fake and a real one.  Also look for a pattern, from review to review. If its not consistent it probably not true and someone is just blowing smoke.
When I write a review I try to keep it as short and sweet as possible and still include the important things.  Just like an ad I not into reading 8 paragraphs,  just the pertinent facts.  Dont need to know the brand and color of the providers shoes.....G.

....not even including the juicy details can make a what was probably an HOT awesome date into a snooze fest.
But...while the date shouldn't be embellished to fill up space I've read some reviews that made me think "that's it"?
