Look at the top of the page to the TER instruction manual.

What it stands for and what it "means" are two different things. There is little consensus on the latter it seems.

As Diana posted, under TER Instruction manual at top of newbie board page- there are two links to acronyms to help you with all the acronyms.  Also, the entire intruction manual is a wealth of info on how to get started, especially the links on how to conduct yourself and your hygiene.

Your question on GFE:  girlfriend experience.  There are a couple current threads on exactly what it is; long and short of it is GFE is a provider with certain aspects to the experience with her which often include kissing, french kissing, cuddle and talk time, and generally making you feel really good about being there rather than just fast and over with sex.

What GFE really means is...

GFE - is when your date nags you to take out the trash when you leave...

Or - GFE is when your guy calls up, wants to come over in 20 minutes, so you drop everything, get the house in order, then he's 35 minutes late and doesn't call.  Arrives smelling of cigarettes, and alcohol, needing a bath and a shave, demands a beer and tosses you on the bed and 3 1/2 minutes later leaves you the mess to clean up and spends the night with another woman (his SO) and then complains that you charge too much and wouldn't kiss him.

Seriously though, my version of GFE is having a fun friendly time between two people who enjoy each other.  It means she is genuinely pleased to see you.  It means candles and music.  And bringing you a glass of wine or a cold beer after a long day at work.  Or a cool glass of iced tea for a summer nooner.   It means PASSION - and a desire by the provider to enjoy her time with you and to do the things that she knows would please you. All that and more.
