What part of "it's a misdemeanor" did you not understand?

'JudgeDredd' gave you the skinny earlier that it is NOT a felony.

 With the review history enjoyed by the providers you mentioned, and the fact that setting up stings and busting hobbyists is so low on the police priority scale; you have a better chance of winning lotto than you do getting popped for a MISDEMEANOR solicitation charge.

 Now trim your pubes, grow some stones, and get out there and hobby.

let's look at the situation in its totality. You have done your research (and it sounds like you have done it quite extensively) and found a provider who is not only well reviewed but the hobbyists who have reviewed her have credibility as well. This is as close to a "safe" situation as you will find in this hobby. You have been led to the proverbial water, only you can take a drink. The time to take your first sip was yesterday.

I WOULD NOT worry about the provider giving you an address. I have had several sessions where a provider, once I set up the appointment, gave me a complete address (street number, room number) all on the first call. No problems.

As a newbie today, you have a tremendous advantage over the rest of us who began hobbying before TER, and before the internet. We didnt have reviews and discussions boards to rely on; only a telephone number in the phone book or sex magazine. Without any background information on the ladies, it was much more likely to encounter rip-offs and LE threats. But here's the good news: We all survived to tell you about it!

Go for it!

It will be all ok.  And besides well-reviewed, independent providers are not worth arresting except for a small town.  LE tends to go after the CL-ers or agencies, it looks better and it's an easier catch.

And it's not a felony, it's a misdemeanor that you can plead down given that you have a clean prior record and can be erased once you enter a plea bargain that you will remain "good" for an amount of time.

Again it's not a felony, and as always hobby safe!

Safer Approach...

Here's a safer approach.  Arrange to meet your dream girl at a bar somewhere for drinks, arrange to pay her for her time at the bar as your companion.  There is no law against exchanging money for conversation.  Congress does it all the time.

Be sure both parties are clear what you are paying for.  No wink, wink.

Then meet her, enjoy your chat. Then if you two hit it off and decide to go do something else somewhere else there's no law broken, technically.  There's no law against dating a hooker off duty.  

They can bust you for anything of course, but getting a conviction is a whole different story - and people respond to personals all day long legally all over the internet.

Basically if LE wants to assign a whole team to protect a decoy havig conversation in a bar, then wants to follow you to an unknown location, and somehow try to entrap you into exchanging money for sex - then honey you are screwed...

I'm fairly new at this and have the same fears you do about LE since having a "criminal" record can screw your life with future employers.

I basically stick with independent providers who work out of their home or hotel. Agencies are sometimes targeted by LE and the owners of these agencies can give up their client lists if busted by LE (DC Madam).

I don't worry when with an independent since they are so low beneath the RADAR screen of LE.
