You can also contact Craig's List and tell them that the photos are stolen.  They will delete the post.

So I'm perusing CL the other day (for sh*ts and giggles) and I see an ad posted with MY photo!  WHA?!  Someone must've lifted a photo off my site and run an ad with it.  HMPH.  Now I'm wondering...do I contact this person via email...or perhaps try calling the posted number and saying "Hey!  That's my picture!"  Do I let it go and keep my eyes open to see if it happens again?  All I know is that I'm NOT happy about this.  My identity is not distinguishable in said photo, but as far as I'm concerned, it's not making the CL girls look any better.  I know I could get the ad flagged, but that doesn't answer my question of who the heck did it.


I may 'pull' my photos, add a watermark or something, and then repost them.  HA!

Plagiarism of both photos and ad copy is unfortunately common on internet escort malls, personal websites, forums, etc since little if anything is protected by copywrite law. I don’t know the mechanics of it; but there is a way of having your pictures “right click” protected on your website so that no one can copy them to their computer files as they have so easily already done. As far as protecting pictures you may have running on commercial escort malls I don't know if anything can be done.

Oh, I understand.  Believe me.  But honestly...

Anyhow, I'm more confused now because I use Rare to host my site and they automatically right-click protect your thumbnails as well as enlarged images, and the enlarged images also include a watermark.  So where the photo came from is a mystery.  But the ad has since been flagged, and not by me.

This girl posted my picture(s) in Philadelphia, Maryland and Northern New Jersey.

I emailed her and asked her nicely to remove my pictures...and you know what she had the nerve to say??

Our bodies/boobs look the same so that's why she was using my pictures. She also said "Be flattered that your titties is helping you eat and charitable to my hustle too. You want royalties for using your titties, than we can discuss that. But wait until I at least make a million so we can split it". end quote.

She said some more garbage, I flagged the ad(s).

She got mad and started acting crazy saying she's from "Brick City" (projects in NJ), making money using my pictures (her rates were 150 and 200 for greek) blah blah, blah, tough talking.

I told her I was from NY and if she didn't stop using my pictures, she'd better be watching her next trick. That shut her up quick AND she stopped using my pictures.

I periodically check CL and her name, NONA, to see if anything come up.

It was an empty suggestion of course BUT I was so mad.

I suggest just flagging the ad. If you contact her you WILL get more pissed off (like I did, LOL).

Ana, it seems the choice you had to make worked.  I can only imagine how upsetting that would be.

On a lighter note, I must compliment her on an outstanding choice of who to steal pictures from.  You have a great portfolio!

Flag the ad, but you might want to copy and place your own. with a warning. "PHOTOS ARE FAKE, THESE ARE THE REAL DEAL" That way the CL hobby will be watching for her future postings. Then again, could be difficult watchng her since most change names and such all the time.
