he stake house that has the buzz is STK at 1250 Connecticut Avenue (Connecticut and N Street). The Palm is a block away (1225 19th Street)
I went to STK and the vibe wasn't really what I was looking for. Maybe with a few girlfriends it would have been perfect.

Mocha knows her stuff. Its not a crab shack on the Eastern Shore w/ plastic bibs. The last fish I had they flew in from Alaska caught within 24 hours.
Best Key Lime pie in the country, period.
... (esp their Porterhouse if I'm feeling particularly baller), chicken dishes, oysters (which I guess they can't really credit for but they are SUPER fresh) and Lamb Chops are absolutely everything!
Now for dessert their Havana Dream Pie or their Apple Pie w/ ice cream I can get behind
