Consider learning the business from the inside and contact some agencies to work for.

Lots of succesful independents started out that way.  It will give you a chance to see if you are even cut out for the buisness without making an investment in ads and other overhead.  You also will get a chance to network with other providers and that should never be discounted.

Best of luck whatever you do.

im new at this type of work and i know its fast money and serving tables is too but im tired i need real cash now.

Get a few hot digital pictures taken of yourself.

Get a dedicated cell phone & number for just your "hobbyist" callers.

Create a dedicated "anonymous" e-mail address for just your hobbyist inquiries and communications.

Compose some alluring ad copy to go along with your pictures, telephone number/E-mail address.
(You may want to only include your e-mail address in your advertisement; at least until you're "comfortable" with client screening and some of the other mechanics of the biz.)

Click on the red "TERs instruction Manual" top center of the newbie board page. In here is a wealth of information on everything from ‘Acronyms’ used in the hobby to Xanax for possible emotional problems associated with the hobby.

Learn to use the "Search messages" atop the page to access endless topics that may and will come to mind.

If you can stay away from advertising on "Craigslist"; do so.
There are many extremely cheap and even FREE internet advertising venues. A recent thread on this board brought several to bear.

If you got the right stuff, a modicum of organizational skill, and a good work/business ethic you can make 100K per year "CASH" working three or 4 days a week. If you DON'T have the right stuff, pay little attention to details and basically a flake at heart you'll probably just end up having sex with a lot of strangers, a possible criminal record, and having little to show for it when all is said and done.

All of the above but it's also worthwhile investing in a website as soon as you possibly can.  You can get 'off the peg' websites for a couple of hundred bucks.

Also, make use of TER, post on your local board, get know in your area.

Just an FYI

I would open a google account with some false info (just to be safe). This way you get a free email address and website for free (googlepages.com). The website stuff is fairly easy, even for novices. If you know how to write a blog, you should be able to figure this out (or get a friend to do it for you).

Your choices are somewhat limited, but hey, it's free.

And most importantly, get as many tips from the other providers here on screening and keeping your personal safety as guarded as possible, and practice safe sex!

There is a very good book on the market called "Turning Pro: a Guide to Sex Work for the Ambitious and the Intrigued" by Magdalene Meretrix.   It not expensive and is available through most book sellers and on line.

This is a strong recommendation.
