Wonderful!! Thanks so much!!

Hi all....again! One more question...looking for neat parks or flower gardens of some sort to check out. I am looking for quiet, peaceful places and also places to take neat picture of mother nature. I wish I knew the area but I don't...so....near/around Tysons Corner area would be great.
Thanks again!!

Well, there's Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna, VA.  Meadowlark (www.novaparks.com/parks/meadowlark-botanical-gardens) is about 4 or 5 miles west of Tyson's.  They are open from 9am-5pm daily and charge $5 entrance fee.

Ally, if you have transportation Great Falls is not that far from you.  You won't believe you are in the DC area when you visit.

Enjoy!

Hey there! Thanks for this! I have to be sure to get all my sightseeing in.

Great Falls is fantastic for the rocks and the river.  The Falls is better viewed from the VA side.   The canal and the river from the MD side.   The paw-paws may be ripe now, they are fantastic.

I have been there often and shot a scene for an indie film on the cliffs.

Sounds awesome! Thanks! Glad I'm bringing my camera.
