Yes, so what.  You said you disagree with my post.  You forgot to mention what it is you disagree with.

I have a provider friend that got busted and needs a great lawyer- I do not know anyone to reccommend to her that specializes in this area. Please inbox me or email me at [email protected]

Thank you.

I'm afraid the prior poster's referral isn't quite enough.  The attorney suggested is admitted to practice, i.e., licensed to practice law, in Washington D.C. only, according to her own web site.  Frankly, after reading that site, I wouldn't recommend that person for anything serious.  It's puffery, amateur puffery.

The first question is in what state was the friend busted?  Then which county and, if a large county like L.A., what local area.

After that, you may choose your lawyer.  And believe me, if she has a record, if the tape is good, it's tough for anyone to get off (no pun) merely by having the world's best lawyer.  You need good facts and a competent lawyer.  This is a low-level, everyday misdemeanor, not a capital offense.

Regardless of the charge every client has a goal and you need a lawyer who is sensitive to your goal.  A good lawyer can help a lot. Any crime is a big deal to the one accused and you want your version of the best outcome to be your reality.  A guitly plea may be inevitable but the content of your record can be shaped and that might make all the difference for your future employment.
