END OF MESSAGE

I'm getting the following error message.

Internal Server Error

An internal error has occurred. If this situation continues please email us at [email protected].

It has been getting steadily worse over the last three days. First, some of my PMs weren't going through. Then that problem got worse. Today, when I click the Compose link, I get the error.

I reported it to Staff yesterday.

A similar problem happens when my broadband router has a momentary problem. Do you have a router?

Clear your cache. Clear your cookies. Run a virus scan.

Yes I do.

I tried clearing my cache and tossing my cookies. That didn't help. No viruses either.

Are you suggesting I restart my router?

I don't have any more easy thoughts for you. The problem is that TER is not receiving the entire string sent back. Someting is being dropped along the way. Once the packet makes it on to the internet (your ISP), the data usually transferred ok. The router could be having intermittent problems that a restart can't fix. However, the router could work fine, especially if you are not having problems surfing in general.

Another thing you could try is to load a different web browser (netscape, firefox, etc.). I run 2 browsers all the time. If a page doesnt function properly, I try it on the other browser. If it doesn't work on both browsers, it is usually the web page, or ...

One other idea: Have you upgraded your firewall or antivirus recently? There could be a configuration problem.

Girl Next Door is having the same problem. I've identified 3 people so far.

I've tried it on IE, Slimbrowser and Mozilla so it is not a browser specific problem.

No recent changes to firewall or AV.

Actually I hadn't checked before now. Thanks for reminding me. The classic site works fine for me.
