If they are asking for personal info, work info, and the like, you have a higher chance of being safe, just due to the nature.

If you're worried about privacy, I would have to recommend that you stick with independents, or ask that your pers info be dumped from database (if they have one) at the agency. There is a guy named Jamie who can NEVER give me full name, so I assume he only saves numbers, not info. Can't remember the agency.

Question to the experts here:

It kinda seems like there are some very highly reviewed/scored providers that are part of agencies whose donations seem relatively reasonable vs independents (incl. some who seem ridiculously priced).  But I'm paranoid about these higher profile groups being targeted by LE and ultimately having to divulge their customer lists.  I've also noticed at least one agency that has been indiscrete and careless in sending their regular blast announcement emails.

Am I right to be paranoid and to stick with higher priced independents or am i overestimating the risk of giving my info to an agency?

Agencies' and providers' responses are welcome...

Reputable rarely get targeted by LE.  LE at least in Atlanta targets the real low end prostitutes that operate out of the low end motels where there is usually drug and other activity. In Atlanta the last agency that was busted was about three years ago and most of the providers with that agency went with other agencies or went independent and then some just dropped out completely. I visit DC several times a year and usually go with independent providers.  There is always risk but if you use well reviewed providers you should not have a problem.
