Now if my recollection is correct, only the girls who were set up for prostitution stings and arrested seprately from the alleged crime were actually charged with the crime during the TBD bust.  The testimony of the John's was used to create the conspiracy charge for RICO for prostitution.  In other words they only busted TBD with the use of John testimony because of the conspiracy charge. And they only busted those they set up individually not those who were alleged rumor alone(I think.)

With Heidi Fliess they had John testimony because they were convicting her of tax evasion so they needed that testimony to get an idea of how much money she earned.

Prostitution or solicitation is a misdemeanor offence, which means it must happen in the presence of a police officer in order for you to be arrested.  Usually if they are going to use the records of the girls for something, it will be only marginally related to the charge of prositution.  For example trying to bust a website for conspiracy, or a madam for tax evasion.

Criminals have to be prtty important to go after them like that. How important do you think you are?  That should answer your question.

Not sure if you all heard but there was a major raid in Phx the other day.  I thought I would pose a question to this board.  Would these ALLEGED offenders be offered less punishment if convicted if they gave up names of previous 'Johns' they have dealt with?  Would this be possible or just heresay because they haven't investigated it - just taking the girl's word for it.  If this is possible, what would the statute of limitations be?  Would you be okay after a certain time?  Thanks for ANY help.

Keep in mind the posession is 9/tenths of the law..and someone being in a act or caught in solicitation..which would cause anyone problems.

Courts have upheld the right to privacy on issues of :

"He was a client..here is his name..etc"..and this is only a accusation..pretty hard to prove unless you have financial proof..ie bank deposits..communications..etc..but still a very thin line for the prosecution.

.Remember you can have charges brought against you for about anything..but the bottom line..is evidence.

Bottom Line..anyone can make a statement..however..if a provider gives up a list of customers served..it is only a list..

Thank you.  I appreciate the help.
