Between the two, you should find everything your looking for..Both are smaller than Mall of America (since there is no amusement park in either of them)...lol, but very large by usual standards with very large variety of stores and restaurants.

Hope this helps!

Tysons and Pentagon City,

Well, the Tysons Corner mall is right next door to you and I believe am  99% sure  is in Fairfax county. I personally love the area, nice people, wonderful shopping, and I think very nice restaurants, lots to do.

Thank you so much for your info!

Just went there yesterday. Lots of nice high-end stores. A good mix of stuff. Got myself some kiehls, sephora, and a bikini from forever 21!

Thank you so much! I really liked the mall! just had everything I was looking for! Thx again!

Fair Oaks Mall on Rt 50
and just across the Fairfax County line in Alexandria on Duke street is Landmark Mall.

(Macy's & Sears) but they used to have 3; Lord & Taylor was the 3rd, classier than the other 2, but got bought out by the parent co. to Macy's so they wouldn't keep them both going.  There was a plan a few years ago to redevelop the site into a multi-use facility with retail, office & residential, but the economic crash killed that, but in the meantime most of the other tenants bailed when their leases were up, so it's not worth a visit.
Pentagon City is vibrant & alive & has the highest retail occupancy rate in the DC area, helped by being attached to a Metro station.  But if you're closer to Tysons the two out there will satisfy anything you're looking for.

Thank you for your detailed advise, I will def. check these places before this weekend!
Thx a lot!

Ok, I will go check that place out. Thank you for your info!

Those are what you will find in/between DC to Fairfax.
I'm starting to prefer Fair Oaks Malls to the Tysons Corner mall.

Thank you for your input, I will try to visit these mall maybe over this weekend. Thank you again!

You can buy all kinds of stuff there. I use to have a colleague who bought all of his ties and caps at the National Mall.
Spiffy dresser that one.

Sorry.....sometimes I just can't resist.

haha I understand. I never been to that mall yet so I will def. check that place out sometime next week. Thank you for your kind advise.
