I had an appointment this weekend, and it got me curious about how often this happens to others - I'm just wondering how often other guys (and gals) have the type of meeting with someone you haven't seen before, that is so bewilderingly amazing that afterwards you wonder what just happened to you? I don't mean just a good, fun time, I mean the type that is an order of magnitude more incredible than you were expecting to the point that it catches you totally off guard.
We should all have high expectations going into a date, and I've been fortunate to pretty consistently have very good experiences, but every once in a while I have an experience that so exceeds realistic expectations that it leaves my knees weak and a smile on my face for days. I just had one of those encounters with a local lady this weekend, and in looking back, I think maybe that kind of out-of-world experience happens about once in every 5 to once in every 10 new encounters. How about others, do you have some experiences that stand way above even amidst generally really good encounters? And if so, how often?It happens when I really "click" with someone. In one case, a particular lady and I exchanged a series of light hearted e-mails prior to meeting and we found our senses of humor really worked well together. When we finally got together, it was incredible. She is not a local lady and since my work travel has slowed down to an almost non-existent state now, I don't get the opportunity to see her as often as I would like to. I have seen her 3 times in the last couple of years and each time is simply put, amazing.
Besides the one I mentioned in the previous paragraph, I can think of a few particular instances this occurred in the past 2 years for me. Luckily for me, they are local (or touring ladies who are here very often) and I can honestly say that the first time we met, sparks definitely flew. Subsequent visits have been equally incredible which is why I keep going back.
10 to 20 percent of the time? Really. For me not really close to that. Almost all the experiences I've had have been very good (I try to be selective in who I see and do the research) but to have that extraordinary session is more like 5% of the time for me.
I repeat all my fantastic dates as much as possible.
I have 5 or 6 regulars and I rotate to keep it fresh.
I would say I am very lucky. 1 out of 3 dates is amazing.

1 out of 3 is just very good, around 9.
1 out of 10 are just bad. Lol
