You know you're getting too set in your ways or old when ...

... the old days always seem so much "gooder" than current times. Sure, I have nostalgia about the Beatles and Rolling Stones, too, but time does move on, Zella Day and A$AP Rocky aren't all that bade either, adapt and enjoy the present! Even the Who (or the those who are still left) don't just sing "My Generation" when the ol' geezers still perform. If there is some type of stream of conversation or interaction you'd like to see, take the effort to try and get the ball rolling rather than just lamenting that it's not there. Sorry, not meant to provoke, but as somebody who also has a few decades under my belt, I've just always found that seeing the past as better than the present all too often translates into stopping seeing the energy and wonders of the present.

been around this site for a little over a decade myself .. how it has changed over the years .. who remembers the good old days where blueyeddoc and BeefEater used to have non-stop back and forth conversations on this site..  I used to read BE's reviews to see how many times there is a mention of his cat in the text while he was getting his standard HJ at the end :-)

 Happy weekend everyone

just a little more low key.  The board is certainly more boring though.  They were 2 strong personalities, to say the least.

Happy weekend, as well.

Beef is still around, LNQRBigDaddy also comes to mind

Ad ohhh what fun it was too. My first visit to DC was in 2007. It used to be one of my twice a year places to visit. I do miss one of my fav cities a lot.

Steph xoxo

Just a bit lower key than before.....

for the second time? Third time?
You can only play with fire so long before you get burn.. You can only play with unreviewed BP girls so long until you get busted!

Stay safe everyone!

I mostly agree.  Some of the old guys are missed for sure, but some of the boasters and smart asses not at all, and I'd say that overall the boards are more interesting and amusing than they used to be.  I also think having more comments from women is a huge plus.
