I hate to disagree, but giving out personal information does present a risk. The odds are not high that a providere will use your info against you, but it does happen. We had two cases in Atlanta in the last week or so that providers outed hobbyists right here on TER.

I am very new to this “hobby”, married, self employed and not comfortable providing personal information to providers or screening services.

On the provider side, the concern is if they use the information to blackmail or harass a former client.

On the service side, I don’t want them calling our company to verify employment because it just me and my spouse running the business. Another problem is the fee. My wife sees all the credit card information and pays all the bills. I can pay cash but how is that done?

I think I know the answer to these challenges but I thought I would run it by just in case. Thanks in advance.

Seriously, the escort is the least of your issues.  I have given my personal info to hundreds of ladies.  (I am talking about actual escorts not some unreviewed dolly on Craig's List.)  I am a member of date-check and RS2K.
Never a problem.

I always pay cash.  Period.  Credit cards leave a trail as you already know.  Since your wife is also the book keeper I have no advice on how you get the cash.  Hopefully someone else can help there.

I think he was asking how he could subcribe to a screening service using cash.

That is correct Dieter...the $60 fee for P411.

p411 has a western union option.  You just walk into western union and for a $12 fee you can do an instant payment to your account.  Very painless.  Datecheck lets you send money orders or cash but it goes to a PO Box so I recommend you use the USPS so you can track it (certified mail).  If you send cash, tell them it's film and you want to insure it for the value of the cash.  That way if it's lost, they have to pay you back.  And since it's certified mail, DateCheck will have to sign for it.

Consider using a prepaid Visa Card/Master Card. I think you can simply buy these at retail. Do you have a single friend you will let you use his card? (he is not joining the service,  just paying 1 time). Money order payment is possible. (do not buy it at you local branch. Better yet someplace off your beaten path).

You will get caught on the money unless you find a way to "launder" money into cash. I recommend starting to pay cash for a lot of things (eating out, groceries, etc). Then who is to know if 500/month is missing. Remember, changing habits will itself be suspicious.

Do Not forget the trac phone and anomalous email. And where will you keep it? Where will you keep your stash of cash.

I am very leery about giving out too much personal info to a provider. You know very little about them they dont even tell you their real name. Since I dont agree to giving out my personal info there are providers I dont see.

if a provider does not care to screen carefully, what does that tell you about her?

Either she is not careful in general, which can be dangerous for you, or she may be LE.

Take that into consideration.

Very true Mr. Fisher. Rs2k, date-check and provider 411 they keep providers and hobbyists information confidential. I verified 4 clients so far through Rsk2 and wow nice service. They dont give personal info out just the verifications if there good or not etc. I highy reccommend Rsk2 :)
