Thank you for such a detailed response! This is incredibly helpful! :) You win the award for helpfulness for sure ;)

I usually do Airbnb because it feels a little more personal than a hotel. so I've seen a lot of nice places in DuPont Circle...  I'm going to be there from Tuesday-Friday so it sounds like maybe Crystal City may be best for that?

Need some pointers from clients and ladies alike: Busiest/most convenient area for incall?

I've never been to DC before so any tips appreciated!

I like hotels near the Dupont Circle area. All of the escorts I've seen in DC have worked out of hotels in that area

I agree with Dupont circle area but Tyson's is more convenient with respect to traffic and parking

I often wonder why more providers do not use National Harbor area. Many fine hotels, easy to get to, close to DC, MD and VA. No parking issues, but it seems as though the ladies just do not gravitate to that location. I wonder why?

Those three are the most frequent areas for providers' incalls in the D.C. metropolitan area. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages, but all three have a number of hotels to choose, which is probably why so many providers gravitate toward these areas. Many providers split their tours of the D.C. area up between some combination of these three areas, which I would recommend, as it maximizes your exposure to different hobbyist demographics.

1) Crystal City has an extensive selection of hotels, many of which are conveniently right next door to each other; in some cases, you could walk from one hotel to the other if you need to change hotels. Crystal City is easily accessible via public transportation, and the traffic and parking situation there is probably the least bad of these three areas. It is also probably (IMHO) the most convenient (or least inconvenient) for the widest demographic of local hobbyists. It is not too far into suburban Virginia for the people coming from D.C. proper and Maryland, nor is it too close to D.C. proper for the people coming in from the outer Virginia suburbs. In other words, it is a happy medium. It is also very close to Reagan Airport, which is probably the most convenient of the area's three airports. There are a fair amount of restaurants there (including great a strip club/restaurant combo), but the area is otherwise slow at night.

2) Dupont Circle is most convenient for those who live in D.C. proper or neighboring areas of Maryland. It is easily accessible via public transportation, but driving into D.C. from the Virginia suburbs and parking there can be a challenge. It is (IMHO) the most vibrant and aesthetically pleasing of the three areas and has more restaurants and nightlife. It will be quieter on weeknights but busier on weekends. D.C. proper is often more expensive. This is my preferred location (I used to live there).

3) Tysons Corner is most convenient for hobbyists who live in the outer Virginia suburbs, but traffic and parking there are often a nightmare. It recently became more accessible via public transportation (the extension of the Metro), but the layout of the streets still leaves it often hostile to pedestrians (e.g. no sidewalks). It probably has the widest selection of hotels, but they are spread out over a wide area. It has a lot of office space, giving it a very corporate feel, and is very busy during the week but slow on the weekends. Personally, I find Tysons Corner uncomfortable and depressing and try to avoid it whenever I can

Have you ever had any issues? Do you rent an appartment or a room?

I only go for the whole apartment option. And I look for the "instant book"ones. Usually those are code-access and you never see the owner and no one actually lives in the unit!

If you are looking for somewhere fun to be and tourist, Dupont.
For business Dupont is accessible to near bye city office workers and DC residents, but parking is a nightmare and traffic worse.  For the minority of customers coming by public transport, it is convenient.  Dupont tends to be a locale for Highest $ escorts it seems, perhaps due to access to the most wealthy profession's offices such as K street lobbiests, but that is conjecture.

Tysons is most convenient for the largest customer base, the inner and outer VA suburbs of DC which are  wealthy.  It is very convenient to those in cars, the majority of customers.  For your non-business purposes it is not a tourist spot to stroll around, but has a big mall if you like shopping.

Crystal City should be a sweet spot, for both the DC and NoVa customer bases, easily accessible by transport and car and airport.  BUT, for some reason, it seems to be primarily patronized by the lower $ end for reasons that aren't clear.  This is not exclusively true, but a trend.  It also tends to be used more by black providers, again for unclear reasons.  If those aren't your profile or market niches, your customer base may not look for you there.

Thanks! This is very helpful as well.

I tend to get a lot of finance guys, lawyers, those types. I'm kind of the tattooed forbidden fruit. I'm going to be around on weekdays and usually see clients who work business hours and sneak away to see me. However I do really get all types. Even bikers or artists, etc.

It seems like for my client base Dupont City may be best. However, Maybe I will try to visit two places. Its seems geographically Crystal city is good, but I'm not sure if I fit the demogaphic.

Thanks again for the detailed answer! This is far more clarity than I usually get when visiting a new place!

If you want to make life easy for the lawyers, find a place near K street downtown. All the big law firms are there.

I work in Crystal City and it is packed with government types and defense contractors. Most of us probably can't afford your rates, even though we'd probably all love to spend time with you.

Tyson's Corner would leave you open to a very wide variety of businessmen. Probably your second best choice behind the K Street area.

Traffic can be so bad at most times that each locale mostly draws a seperate crowd from folks close by...most guys can't afforf to spend an hour plus each way to and from driving and also have an hour or more appointment.  I'd suggest splitting between a DC/Crystal city locale for part of your visit, then a Tysons/Dulles area incall for the balance.

Lifelong Nova guy here...Crystal City has the worst of both worlds:  traffic and no parking.  Tysons has good parking almost always unless it's a really high end hotel, and even the RC has lots of free parking close by at Tysons II.

Dupont Circle has reasonable traffic and parking between 10 and 4, but becomes a challenge during rush hours.

Dupont or TC >>> Crystal City for me
