.....if grounds are particularly bad I notice an uptick in o/c requests.

This is a question for providers and hobbyists:

Do you still see providers in the winter months? With it being -(whatever) during DC winters.
Are outcalls more frequent doing these months?

Just curious.

this is not due to the weather but it seems to me that there are less traveling providers in the deep winter and so less to choose from. Of course this is weather and economy driven. recently there have been a lot more providers traveling to the dc metro areas as there seems to be a recent proliferation of agencies serving the area. Bad weather would not stop me from seeing a good provider with excellent reviews. In fact, last winter I saw one just as a snow storm was starting and literally in just 2 hrs there was a lot more snow than I expected and I had a heck of a time getting home and was quite late. That taught me to start a bit earlier when snow is in the forecast but I didn't say to myself to not do that again as it was still fun and worked out ok.

Unless I cannot get to my destination because the weather is too treacherous , I still travel. Last winter up here was record breaking BS. Our snow fall was measured in feet and not inches. Blizzard after blizzard after blizzard...major downer. There were still mountains of snow here in June. This winter I am going to leave Boston if that crap starts again. I have no problem living out of a suitcase for a couple of months. :0)
