Mia,

Surely, the replies to your post may have been somewhat useful, but I gather that nothing beats a reviewer offering to see after reading your post. Truth be told, as others stated, the pics could be better but anyone can clearly see what you are working with, your rates are fair, and the services offered are on par with that price range. One commenter asked where are you posting and that question sticks out to me as I browse a variety of sites, and I can't say that I saw your ad when you where in the area. I would've paid you a visit and reviewed you as well (a good one no doubt)!

Am I not doing something right here? I was told that reviews would help my situation. But there doesn't seem to be anymore credible reviewers that want to see me :(

I'm CERTAINLY open to it, and to any ideas some of you may have.

There could be a number of things you're doing wrong or it could be nothing.

First, where are you advertising ?

How are your services ?

Do you ask for reviews ? Do you give references ?

Do you advertise on TER ? Offer a Special Rate for TER Reviews to reviewer handles with at least 4 or 5 reviews. Or you can offer extra time, say 90 minutes for a 60 minute rate for TER reviewers. ( You'll have some asses who will email or PM you trying to get a session for free in exchange for a review

If she does offer that discount, what type of guarantee does she have that the guy will actually go home and write the review?

All that and a couple of unpopular suggestions:

Don't take half hours. Charge a little more. Get professional photos if you're able.

People are attracted to exclusivity (or at least airs of exclusivity). It's why people rush to write and read reviews of a new fancy restaurant with impressive sounding preparations and not the local diner down the street, even if the diner has better steak. How one advertises is a big part of that.

But she can still try. Unless she glues him to her computer and forces him to log in and review her right on the spot, there's no guarantee.

I'll tell you what, do like the rest of the corporate world. Offer a "chance to win" a $500 dollar gift card from Walmart and they can become automatically enrolled in the raffle when they write a review. The winner will be picked at the end of the year. Lol

Questionable ? He has a review handle from over a year ago and several whitelists. How is he questionable ?

Hope we can sync up our schedules very soon. :)

This topic was discussed yesterday in the general discussion board under "Hobbyist Refusing to write reviews."  Lots of informative stuff, check it out.

Note:  I did PM you inquiring about your schedule, but got no response

I'm kind of low on the reviewer status but I just found this site not to long ago. I always review just to keep VIP because I don't pay for it. I did see your add on the add board and wanted to see you but the issue with me was that you change locations so much I could not get the schedule to work out or saw your add after you were already gone as much as I would like to set up a visit I just can't make myself drive an hour one way for an hour visit.

The posting location also stands out to me as well. I haven't searched for you anywhere so I don't know where you are posting but I can tell you that before I graduated to TER I obviously wasn't reviewing anyone on here.

Good luck!
