I probably average 4 or 5 visits a year with providers. I've had one cancellation before in my three years of hobbying. Howvever, the last 3 appointments I've made were all abrubptly cancelled last minute due to either personal issues or phone problems on the provider's side. Im talking like all within under 1 hour of my scheduled time.
I think I'm quite professional about the whole thing, i don't demand and I've been more than nice about it. Two cancellations were with agencies, with which I've visited, and as far as i know am in good standing with. The other one was an independent gal I've seen twice. I guess im just venting but it's getting annoying and making me want to stop. I thought the whole point of this was to be stress free. Any independent gals available for next weekendIn my 6 + years, I've twice experienced the famous NCNS, no call no show, went to the location, texted, then called for specifics & never got a response. And I've had a couple of times being at the location & called & got a cancellation for weird reasons. If you stay in the hobby long enough, s**t happens. Just try to learn what you can from each experience & adjust your behavior accordingly (e. g. with agencies that screwed you, never go back). It's never going to be a perfect world, it's full of humans!
Probably need some evaluation on who you are picking or maybe even if there is something in the process of setting up the date that could have scared them at the last minute or and more than likely it is or- it was just one of those things. I am around with some screening of course.

Cancellations suck all around. Even worse if she charges a fee for it.
