I have a provider that I've seen a couple of times and since then we've exchanged many emails as part of a long conversation discussing all kinds of things.  

I'd like to send her a little something as an appreciation of her friendship and I'd like to send it "blind" in the sense that I don't want to know her address and I want her to preserve her privacy and security.  

I think Amazon sort of does this with their wish list, but the address can be revealed. Maybe there's another way to do this?

Any thoughts are appreciated

If I remember right, you can purchase an online gift card from VS and have it sent to any email address, and the "real name" is not needed. At least at the time I did it, the trick was that the recipient had to purchase online, it could not be taken into a physical VS store. When I talked to someone at the VS customer service about how dumb that was, they revealed to workaround - the online card could be used to purchase a physical gift card that could be sent to the recipient. So you would never know her physical address. The need for a workaround is silly, maybe they have changed it so maybe you can now use an online card for on-store purchases somehow.

I'm sure there must be other online gift cards from other places that work a little better.

You need a working email address, but not a real name for at least the following:

Amazon
Starbucks
Bloomingdales
United Airlines

And probably a whole lot more.

I was recently gifted via Amazon and not through my wish list  items but just as a giftcard/credit. She can order what she likes when she likes, send it to where she wants, and the giftcard/credit doesn't expire. I would not suggest this for gifts over $200 though, if that were the case I would say just buy a specific gift or give her the cash
