The LA Times/USC tracking poll consistently show a dead heat. The LA Times Bureau Chief was interviewed and explained that their methodology also takes into account the enthusiasm factor, which favors Trump. The chief said that in 2012, they were considered outlier but in the end was spot on

...and as I such I presume the newly elected president "illegitimate".

Saw the results of the poll today on ABC This Week. Shit, that's a lot of crazy, wired and pissed off people more then a half of which probably ready to cause trouble. That's just... f-ing nice. I'm about to sent my mother to Portugal for an extended 1-2 month vacation.

...The country is so divided that you'll usually see 20 to 25% being opposed to whatever the poll is asking.  That's the hardcore percentage of Republicans and Democrats that will never agree with the other side.

One guy was telling me off last week about Trump support. After I explained to him that the wage base is going up (from 118,500 to 127,200 in 2017) for social security he has changed his tune.  Another undecided told me yesterday that Trump would good for buy american products.  This race is lot closer than people realize.

I still doubt if they'll pull off anything significant.

It's like the voter intimidation thing. Some fool might go to a polling place and hang out, but if he tried to do anything he'd get shut up. If they really get organized, they might go in pairs, egg each other on and maybe go too far, but even those will get slapped down. If they show up three or more, it'll be so obviously a planned attack that the poll workers will call the police.

I'm beginning to think that unless their leader is there telling them what to do, they won't have a clue as to how to organize a protest or a demonstration. Look at who they are. They're lucky if they can find their way back home after the rally. Does anyone seriously they can pull off an actual activist movement?

The most they'll accomplish is a few people will get together at a bar or somewhere and agree to walk down the street calling people names. Maybe they'll get into a scuffle, but without somebody smarter than them, they'll just make a mess of anything like that.

Harmless losers. Sleep in peace knowing Darwin is on your side.
