END OF MESSAGE

I've avoided agencies for most of my hobbying career. If I'm dropping a few hundred dollars on an experience, I want the lady to get as much of that as possible. Plus, I'm under the impression that I'm a little safer with independent ladies. That is, with less people involved my potential exposure to LE decreases.

I've recently fallen in with a local agency because of a girl who caught my eye. And, am finding repeat business to be incredibly convenient. Now, I get email notifications of ladies and I don't have to deal with screening. I save a ton of time looking over ads and waiting for references to reply.

Do other gentlemen use agencies? What are the good ones in the area? And, what are the ladies' experiences with how agencies treat and divide the revenue?

Agencies can give the client a choice of different models to choose from without the added hassles of screening over and over. After some time, it can get quite comfortable staying with agencies. One shouldn't feel bad about the division of the do re mi between the worker and the staff. Not all providers want to be independent and not all are ready for the added responsibilities of going solo. On the down side, the agency handler running the show on a day to day basis can be a real flake. Thankfully, this is an exception and not the rule. Agencies are also a bit more affordable for me.

Finding the good agencies is part of the fun..

I worked for an agency for 6 months and went indy about a month ago and I'm loving it !!! Bottom line is, am not trying to be doing this for 10 years lol So I want to be making more money while
seeing less guys, makes sense ?
As for how agencies treat the girls that can vary greatly !
Would I tell every girl that indy is better? YES!!!!
Can any girl be successful as Indy? No. Some girls simply aren't organized well enough, that's usually the problem.
At the end of the day, it's all preference and it depends on what the girl's goals are :) great question!!!!!

Does that mean I can see you for almost 10 more years. Thats good enough for me baby. Great reply BTW. You are not only beautiful and passionate but intelligent too. A great combination for sure.

I'm a brand new provider, and I've opted to start out with an agency.

My reasoning is that I really want to concentrate on my dates and becoming an excellent provider without having to undergo potentially unsafe trial-and-error in learning the screening/booking process. I know I've got the skills, passion and enthusiasm for the "sexy times" part of the hobby, I just need some support on.the logistics end, at least until I learn the ropes.

Once I gain some experience, I can re-evaluate whether to continue using an agency or go independent. Thus far, my agency has been professional and easy to work with, and for now, if.the agency is effective and timely in screening and booking for me, I find the split worth it.

(My first real post on the boards, yay! :D)

I did the same thing - started with an agency knowing that I needed the practice without all the distraction, and I couldn't be happier with how it worked out! Best of luck to you! ;-)

and stayed for two days...I would never do it again. Even brand new, I knew they weren't cutting it. They had no idea how to market me and were unorganized.

I thought it was completely ridiculous that their cut of things would be so much for how little support I felt I was getting. Not to mention, I had no real say in rates. Essentially I was working at a market average, but getting to keep BP prices so the only way to make any money was volume...ugh. Been indy ever since and literally would not do it other way.

This question gets asked every few months and usually ends up in a long winded debate. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. For a lot of women, agency is a great place to start, a reputable agency, not a pimp who throws an ad on back page and calls himself an agency, treats the ladies they work with well and will actually help them go on to be independents. Any agency worth their salt tries to provide great customer service and wants to keep both sides happy.

Agency isn't for everyone, obviously, and neither is indy. Some of the ladies I work with can barely even get themselves out of bed on time let alone do their booking, screening, ads, hotels, and travel themselves. Theres some ladies that have it together, to where eventually they will be indy. With an agency a lady has competition against herself within the company and the other ladies she works with, however the agency has a steady clientele and can keep the lady busy. A lady can only stay with a company for so long before she no longer stays busy, I would expect after a certain time a lady should be indy or move on to a different company.

I have gladly handed over the ladies photos, provided as much help as I can, and have wished them the best as indies. Not all of us are bad

I prefer independents, but even there many employ trusted bookers.  If they're good, they benefit everyone and are worth the $$$.  If not, they are a waste and even dangerous, because of exploitation, overbooking, not looking after their clients, etc.  The key as always is due diligence -- get to know the bookers quickly, don't be a smart ass, and make your own judgments.  If something doesn't seem right, take a walk.  In my experience, bookers have more often than not saved me $$$ and promoted great experiences that wouldn't have happened without their recommendations.  It ain't rocket science, but you have to keep your eye on the ball until you're inside the door.

We all see horror stories on TV and the internet, whether accurate or not, of how some escorts are treated by their handlers. Forced to go with many customers and not able to say no at any time. For those of you who have either worked for or dealt with an agency, how are you treated? Are escorts pushed to take as many customers as possible regardless of the escort's desire to do so? Or, are escort agencies run similar to an employment agency where the prospective employee is offered different positions and can accept or turn down any offers?
