And Clintons and Buses spend many Thanksgivings together. It's a known fact. What escapes me is why many still feel that they somehow are not close friends. Neither family hides their close relationship with one another. Pretty soon Obamas will be joining the club.
In his last interview for 60 minutes Obama practically said that G.W. Bush was his best advisor in 2008 at the onset of his presidency. I mean he didn't say it in those words of course, Obama is not stupid but make no mistake Obamas will be joining a turkey party at Crawford Tx for the first Thanksgiving after Obama's presidency. Btw, school doesn't matter. Obama is no Yale, Obama is Harvard.

So if Clintons and Bushes love each other on a personal level why wouldn't they'd be helping each other on the professional one? I mean not overtly because masses got to believe that there is an ideological divide that their former presidents would never cross even for the sake of personal relationship. And those who believe such a thing can stay in their oblivion forever if they wish.

I'm way over 50, I had an interesting and highly eventful life so I no longer wear rose glasses and believe in pie in the sky, Bernie's free lunch, and Trump holding a touchy-feely thing for an average American, himself being a son of a rich man who felt that unless you strike gold you're a loser. That's for 10 year olds

The parallels are striking. I don't think I ever seen anything like it since I've been here. You have one candidate who's rough around the edges, and the other polished New York politician. Granted Trump is no country bumpkin but he sure is not as smooth as Hillary.

Trump has an entrenched dedicated support. Maybe in total it's not as numerous as Hillary's but it will vote come hell or high water. Much of Hillary's support is fluid and wishes for voting to be done on the internet so they wouldn't have to go anywhere + they really wish they were voting for somebody else and many agree with much of what Trump says "on the issues".

Remember the headlines after Truman-Dewey election? Well, what do you know - last night SNL proclaimed Hillary the winner. Do I think stupid? I think it was very stupid and counterproductive because it would serve just to make more people think that press is "in with the Clintons".

This morning ABC poll showed Trump trailing by just 4 points while NBC had him trailing by 11. The shows that election is still very fluid.

Also just as expected this stupid sex story instead of hurting Trump actually began arising sympathies.

Everybody knows that men talk this way. Everybody knows that famous rich men attract gold diggers. I'm sure that most of the people in the country also noticed that Trump was describing an incident of himself striking out with a woman instead of bragging about him scoring.
I guarantee you that when this older woman who claims that Trump grouped her on the plane said during the interview on CNN that Trump's grouping her lasted "very short time, no more then 15 minutes" a lot of people (and especially women) around the country said: "A-ha..."

All this plus the fact that I have a strong feeling that Putin - who many forget is a career intelligence officer that rose to head his intelligence agency, the KGB/FSB (Russian version of CIA) before becoming Russia's president - still holds his most effective trump card close to the vest and probably will spin it loose about a week before the election.

The election is not over by any means. I believe that possible repeat of the Truman-Dewey scenario has never been as pertinent as it is now.

I think what will decide the election is this: if those who don't like Donald Trump feel more disgusted with him then scared of him - Trump wins. Because chances are they also are disgusted with Hillary, maybe less so then with Trump but not by much and as such will just decide not to vote.

If those who don't like Donald Trump feel more scared of Trump being in charge of the country (as in scared for their own personal safety) then disgusted with him, then Hillary wins no matter what Putin's got up his sleeve.
I don't think that there are even many Trump supporters who believe that Hillary becoming president would somehow threaten their personal safety

Polling is so MUCH more scientific & computer driven now. Dream on.

...have any issues with her, like at all. Period. I bet you have more issues with her then me because I believe that all the staff that's been coming out about her and her husband is being blown out of proportion and is totally irrelevant in regards to how either of them do as president.
Also I'm very happy with the way the Clintons treated Bernie, Wasserman-Schultz and the whole shebang. First, they're Democrats, Bernie was an imposter who didn't have enough balls to run as what he was, a Socialist. Second, politics is a contact sport. Can't stand the heat, can't play the game - I don't want you for my president whatever you stands are.

Trump was right and I feel genuine when he called Hillary "the fighter that doesn't give up"; I think being a pro in his game himself, not too deep inside Trump actually admires Hillary. Personally I believe that Hillary Clinton would make the best president we had in a while, better then what we have now and the one that we had right before by 1000 miles, that's for sure but...

...irrespective of how I feel about Hillary

1. I can't help but noticed that she's one of the most unpopular politicians we ever had.

2. Most of the people don't seem to share in my opinion that 90%, if not all, of the Clintons' scandals are irrelevant. I feel that the Clintons are in touch with their roots (Trump is too, he loves his fellow rich guys and like a true son of a rich guy doesn't give a damn about whether you and I live or die), that Bill's wife will resolve most of the problems inflicted on the country by our last two presidents in exactly the same way as her husband did in the 90s. That, just like her husband did (and unlike Obama), she'll succeed in most of her foreign policy endeavors and will manage to lose very few soldiers in doing that. Bill, by the way, succeeded in every operation he had American military engaged in and lost ZERO soldiers unlike of course our last two imbeciles.

3. By the most important thing is that I just love "the game", its pros and cons and how I see various players trying to affect it either to their benefit or detriment. I pride myself in being able to analyze issues free of my partisanship and draw conclusions as they come out to me and not as I like them to come out. Like I feel that the Clintons' people make a lot of mistakes in evaluating people's reactions to this or that and that's one of the main reasons that she still may lose the election.

As for Truman-Dewey scenario, I think you got to be either fully ignorant or totally (not legally now - totally) blind not to see possible parallels.

not the generally accepted 3%. That is a 12 to 14 point error range, if you believe these guys.  I’m sure the “Student of Polls” could offer some insight at to the validity of this study, but he is currently AWOL.

And, of course, it is really the swing state polls you should be looking at, not the national polls.

So that is a bit scary. If you add in the assumption that Trump supporters are so die hard they will be sure to vote, and that many Hillary voters think it is already over, well, Noway could be right.

What I want to know, however, is how could Jeb Bush and the super pacs spend 130 million  on his campaign and not uncover Trump’s lecherous behavior in time to sink  Trump in the primaries? Per the NY Times, Bush spent less than $10,000 on opposition research, and over $4000 on pizza. H’mm. Some donors got really reamed by this guy.

What a failure by these campaign professionals

You know what... Jeb might've knew it and decided that it wouldn't work in the Republican primary or even have an opposite effect.

It's not impossible that Bushes even forwarded that tape to the Clintons. I'm not sure if it's likely but sure is not impossible, considering how close Bush and Clinton families are and how much Bushes must hate Donald Trump. I bet you everything I own that most members of Bush family dislike Trump more then do the Clintons.

Scull and bones club (Yale University). New world order clan. Notice that Bushes and Hillary voted to go war in iraq.

...big war chest on oppo research.  He could have cut Trump off at the knees.  Michelle Obama says: "When they go low, we go high."  That may be fine for the general election, but in the primaries you want to narrow the field as soon as possible and flinging mud is the best way to do it.

The problem is tight-ass Republicans like Jeb! probably don't have any staffers who listen to Howard Stern.  People have known about Trump's crude talk on Stern for years, but it seems to have come as a surprise to the Republican powers-that-be.

Truman was a sitting president, also with VP experience.  His character was unquestioned.  When Truman was elected, contrary to flawed polling, it was in no way a disaster for the country.

Should Trump win, contrary to current polls... well, that would be another thing entirely.
