Don't say "I'm not LE" - that is even more suspicious. LE can lie anyways. Tell the lady about yourself- personality, appearance, maybe send a pic, and be polite and honest. Don't reference your favorite sexual activities or positions. Just give a general intro and offer other screening info, such as your employment info, or get screened through RS2k or Datecheck.

I have a once in a lifetime opportunity to setup a visit in Las Vegas with an escort. Therefore,I'm trying to setup appointment with the best escorts but alas same problem as many others of no references. Is it reassuring to mention to the providers that I'm not with any LE? Is it best to tell a little about myself in an email? Input greatly appreciated especially if any providers can give their input. Thanks!

Hey, I am in the exact same situation as you, and I was able to set something up. I am like you, unexperienced, but I can tell you what I have found out.
In your intro email, be very polite and articulate, follow all their instructions, and give all the information they ask for. Don't discuss payment or any sexual activity. They will drop you like a hot rock if you do. Also, in your first email, be totally up front about your lack of references.
I couldn't figure out why escorts seem so paranoid, and it really frustrated me at first. But if you think about it, they have good reason to be paranoid (law enforcement, psychos, guys who don't pay, etc.) *You* know you are an honest guy who just wants to have a good time, but they have no way of knowing that. You just have to be patient and understanding.
The first few providers I contacted didn't reply to my email, but eventually one did. Just make a list of the ones you would like to see, and email them all. One will respond.

There are various sites you can join that providers use;
- In Illinois and the Midwest, Room Service 2000.
- Datecheck
- Preferred 411
Also some providers do not require references and may screen you through your personal information (which varies by provider). They may verify you through your employment, through internet research, etc.
Also, if you booked through an Agency, they may verify you without a reference and may be amenable to acting as your first reference. Its a place to start.
Some people are of the mistaken opinion that if someone says they are not LE, they are not. Wrong. Do you think that LE admits their status when trying to bust a drug dealer? In fact, the fact that someone says this is sometimes disconcerting and may result in the provider becoming nervous about meeting you.
The bottom line is that you need to cooperate with whatever the screening your provider of choice requires. If you are uncomfortable, then you should find a different provider whose requirements you are more comfortable with.
